A professor accused of creating a campus-wide alert by shooting himself in a toilet on the second day of classes last month reportedly did so in order to protest President Trump.
A report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal said that Mark Bird, a sociology professor at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN), has been charged with discharging a gun within a prohibited structure, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possessing a dangerous weapon on school property.

He shot himself in the toilet, yes, no jokes but bodily, the story doesn't say where he shot himself... okay, he shot himself in the toilet... I guess he wasn't hurt too seriously.

It has been stated by mental health experts, that Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real disorder.

Did he believe he was some kind of human voodoo doll, so that shooting himself in the arm would make Trump say, "Ouch!"
What a nitwit. So glad people like this are working in higher education. *****rollingeyes*****

That is why they say to swallow the gun. Place it in the mouth
so the excitement doesn't throw off your aim.
As an additional benefit, one avoids the followup felony gun charges.
Of course Sociology Professor Mark Bird didn't plan well.
On a positive note, he did bring bullets.

What a typical Liberal coward. He shot himself in the arm with a .22 because he knew that it would not do much damage. A .22 pistol is one level above a high powered pellet gun. It is used mostly for target practice or for shooting birds, squirrels and rabbits specifically because it doesn't damage the prey that much.
Still, he could have used it to kill himself if he was truly committed to his so called 'protest'. A head shot at close range or a shot to the heart would usually be fatal. But, it seems that he just wanted to hurt his arm for some insane TDS reason. He could have done more damage to himself with a large knife than a .22 pistol.

We appreciate the clear demonstration of how gun laws do not stop gun crime; they only define it.

In my mind, this is the sort of thing that should be encouraged, not punished.
The man was just trying to help Trump "Make American Great Again".
Having the trash take itself out is as good as it gets.
BTW,anybody ask this lefty sociology professor where he got the gun?
I sure hope he is properly punished for having and firing a gun on school property. You just KNOW he would agree with that on political grounds.

The professor needs more training. Something on the order of a 454 Casull should do it.

Well if he really thought that, I wish he would have shot himself in the head, no harm to Trump but a big plus of one less liberal lunatic.

If you intend to do damage, bring something of substance.
Something 357, not a pee shooter or slingshot.
You can borrow one from a Conservative.
Just tell him what your intentions are.
Definitely try a mouth shot with a steady aim
and shot satisfaction.
