White House silent if anti-Israel protesters will be barred from student loan forgiveness programs
President Biden, in part, campaigned on student debt relief in 2020

The Biden administration is silent on whether students carrying out anti-Israel protests spiraling on college campuses nationwide will be barred from student loan forgiveness programs that have canceled billions of dollars in debt under the 46th president.

"We say justice, you say how. Burn Tel Aviv to the ground," protesters have chanted on Columbia University’s campus in recent days. "Hamas we love you. We support your rockets, too," other chants have included.

Colleges from coast to coast, including some of the nation’s most elite schools - including Harvard, Yale, Penn, Berkeley and others - have seen dayslong protests on campuses, where students demand their schools completely divest from Israel as the death toll in Gaza increases.

The protests come following terrorist organization Hamas launching war in Israel on Oct. 7, which initially fanned the flames of antisemitism on campuses in the form of protests, menacing graffiti and students reporting that they felt as if it was "open season for Jews on our campuses." The protests have now heightened to the point where Jewish students are warned to leave campus for their own safety.

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House on Sunday asking if the administration plans to bar student protesters from eligibility for student loan forgiveness programs but did not receive a response. Biden, in part, campaigned in 2020 on forgiving student loan debt, including pledging to cancel at least $10,000 per borrower back in 2020.

I was right. Wait for the details. This 44% is only for people  making $1 million or more in taxable income.  Less than 1% of taxpayers will be affected

All of you jumping around panicking . As Bongino
always says wait 5 days for the correct details before making a fool of yourself

That's 90 % of small business corporations too, I bet.

The Travesties of the Trump Trials › American Greatness
Victor Davis Hanson
11–14 minutes

Do not believe the White House/mainstream media-concocted narrative that the four criminal court cases—prosecuted by Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, Jack Smith, and Fani Willis—were not in part coordinated, synchronized, and timed to reach their courtroom psychodramatic finales right during the 2024 campaign season.

These local, state, and federal Lilliputian agendas were designed to tie down, gag, confine, bankrupt, and destroy Trump psychologically and physically. They are the final lawfare denouement to years of extra-legal efforts to emasculate him.

Indeed, the nation is by now worn out by these serial assaults on constitutional norms: the Hillary-funded Steele dossier subterfuge; the pre-election Russian laptop disinformation campaign; the two impeachments without special counsel reports; the impeachment Senate trial of a private citizen; the effort to remove Trump’s name from state ballots; the ongoing attempt to emasculate the Electoral College; or the radical opportune changes in state election laws to ensure massive mail-in balloting.

Recently, Andrew McCarthy has reviewed in depth this coordination between White House personnel and prosecutors, long known and long denied by the left. Biden, for example, had complained to aides about Attorney General Merrick Garland’s tardiness in getting special federal prosecutor Smith appointed—and thus apparently ensuring Trump was convicted before the election.

Report: Trump and DeSantis Meet in Miami, Talk Fundraising

Paul Bois 28 Apr 2024

Former President Donald Trump and Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reportedly met in Miami on Sunday where they settled their political differences and discussed fundraising.

The former president and the Florida governor crossed swords this past primary when the two were competing for the coveted GOP presidential nomination, leading to some strain between the two campaigns’ supporters. Even though DeSantis ultimately dropped from the race and endorsed Trump, this marks the first time the two politicians have officially met to bridge the divide. The Hill reported:

The hours-long meeting, brokered by political allies hoping to chill what was once a red-hot rivalry, resulted in DeSantis agreeing to help the former president.

DeSantis’s network of donors and influence among notable conservatives wary of Trump could prove a major boon to the presumptive nominee’s campaign. Trump has consistently fallen behind President Biden in fundraising as the 2024 election nears.

The men had reportedly not spoken since DeSantis dropped out of the GOP presidential race in January. DeSantis failed to capitalize on high expectations for his first national campaign, leaving the race after the Iowa caucuses. He endorsed Trump, who went on to defeat former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley in the primary.

Upon dropping from the race, DeSantis said that while he and the former president have their disagreements, he believed Trump would be better suited to lead the nation than Joe Biden.

“It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance,” DeSantis said.

I mentioned before how the govt foisted electric buses on a particular school bus company in SW Pa. that provides contract services to several school districts. The company received absolutely no information or training on how to maintain the vehicles - it was just "here are your electric buses, you have to use them, have fun." I guess they're scrambling in the garage to figure out what to do with them. Meanwhile, they're expected to take these things over the hilly, winding roads of rural communities in all types of weather.
