The most obvious change to Disneyland, I can only speak to Anaheim, occurred with the death of Walt, it was the degradation of his vision and dream and morality. Why is that almost always the guaranteed outcome when a founder dies, Walter Knott dies and the children immediately bring in alcohol and sleaze, Carl karcher dies and suddenly semi pornographic commercials start airing, Ray Kroc passes and his philosophy of don't do if you can't do it right, goes right out the window, the menu is flooded with crap, and the ads are suddenly directed to one particular segment rather than Ray's traditional market segment, Families. Disneyland has become a destination that requires multiple days to actually enjoy a significant portion of the park, and let's not forget first and foremost, lot's and lot's of money!
