David Freese draws a two out walk but the Dodgers strand him immediately. No score, middle of the first. Note: Red Sox starter David Price threw only two changeups in the inning; that was the pitch he used to beat the Astros to win the pennant.
-
Three up, three down for the Red Sox against Hyun-Jin Ryu.
No score after one full inning.
-
Three up, three down for the Dodgers, Price throwing the changeup more this inning and got two punchouts, no score, middle of the second . . .
-
Xander Bogaerts doubles off the Green Monster with one out . . . Ian Kinsler singles him home with two out . . . the Red Sox are on the board, 1-0 . . . Kinsler running on the pitch, Jackie Bradley, Jr. lines a single to left center, Chris Taylor runs it down in the gap and throws out Kinsler trying for third. 1-0, Red Sox after two.
-
There should be a vented grate on the pitching rubber where a pitcher can put his pitching hand between pitches/plays.
It's 47 degrees. 87 in LA
Not right.
-
Two-out walk and a force out at second to follow, the Dodgers still behind, 1-0 after two and a half . . . make note that the Dodger hitters are starting to lay off David Price's changeup . . .

@DCPatriot
I have a better idea---let the pitchers use the kind of fingerless gloves bowlers use. That'd help them grip their pitches better or at least keep their throwing hands reasonably warm.
-
p.s. Don't let the weather fool you too completely. The Red Sox can play in spring/summertime weather as well as they play in the Fenway fridge . . . ;)
-
A one-out single by Mookie Betts and that's all the Red Sox get . . . 1-0, Red Sox after three full . . .
-
Bases loaded, nobody out, the plate ump squeezing the hell out of the strike zone on both sides . . . Matt Kemp scores David Freese with a sacrifice fly with nobody out and the game is tied at one all in the top of the fourth . . .
-
Yasiel Puig lofts a soft liner over Ian Kinsler's head, sends home Manny Machado, the Dodgers have their first lead of the Series. 2-1, two out, Dodgers still hitting in the top of the fourth.
-
Three up, three down for the Red Sox in the fourth, Dodger starter Hyun-Jin Ryu is getting his curve ball well located tonight even with the plate ump squeezing the zone against both sides . . . 2-1, Dodgers after four . . .
-
Three up, three down for the Dodgers top of the fifth, still 2-1 Dodgers . . .
-
Two out, nobody on in the bottom of the fifth . . . then---single, single, walk, walk, two-run single, and it's 4-2, Red Sox after five . . .

The Dodgers go in order in the top of the sixth, still 4-2, Red Sox . . .
-
The Red Sox go in order in the bottom of the sixth, still leading 4-2 . . . David Price coming out of the game on the winning side . . . Joe Kelly coming in to pitch for the Red Sox . . .
-
David Price becomes the fourth Red Sox pitcher to go two consecutive postseason starts allowing two runs or less and three hits or less. The others: Derek Lowe (2004), Pedro Martinez (1999), Jim Lonborg (1967)
-
Three up, three down for the Dodgers in the top of the seventh, including Joe Kelly absolutely freezing pinch hitter Yasmani Grandal on a filthy changeup hitting the middle.
4-2, Red Sox, middle of the seventh . . .
-
Is it me, or would I be tempted if I were broadcasting the game to say, "Two out, nobody on, the Red Sox are threatening . . . "
-
The Red Sox get a runner to third on a one-out double and a two-out wild pitch, but can't get him home. 4-2, Red Sox after seven . . .
-
They both go in order in the eight, the Dodgers down to their final three outs of Game Two. 4-2, Red Sox . . .
-
Three up, three down for the Dodgers in the ninth, and the Red Sox have a 2-0 World Series lead . . .
4-2 your final from the Fenway fridge . . .
