Cadbury Creme Egg is also a candy anomaly. “There’s not another thing out there like the Cadbury Creme Egg, it’s both terrifying and delectable,” says candy historian Jason Liebig. “If you get the Cadbury Mini Eggs, for example, those aren’t dissimilar to other treats you can get throughout the year. Jelly beans are a lot like Mike & Ike’s. But a Cadbury Creme Egg? You’re not getting anything like that at any other time of the year.” And for many Americans, Easter is also the only time of year that we’re eating Cadbury-branded chocolate at all.

I'll split 'em with ya! That and cigars are my only vices.

They can pry my Cadbury eggs from my cold dead hands.

It's them orange marshmallow circus peanuts that get me this time of year.

Every time it's "Ooh! look at them!"

And I buy a bag.

The Gak line is somewhere short of 15 of them things.
The rest get thrown in the yard. If there ain't a dog around, there they sit. Not even the birds. Not even the chickens.

That ought to learn me. But still again...

I prefer the “circus peanut” (flavored firm colored marshmallow) myself during Easter, when often one can find chicks and rabbits in various colors, including blue and sometimes green (don’t care too much for green, but I dig blue, and red).  But, none this year.

I really don't care for Cadburrys or peeps. Although my Mom loved both and I would always fix an Easter basket for her...with a chocolate bunny.

They’re not Peeps.  They’re “circus peanuts” with other shapes and more flavors.

I don’t like Peeps.  Just standard soft marshmallow with colored sugar on the outside.  Does nothing for me.

Put 'em on graham crackers with a piece of a chocolate bar and nuke it for a few seconds and they make a decent s'more.  Otherwise, yeah, yuck.
