Maher: ‘Wilt Chamberlain Had Sex With More People Than Signed Up For ObamaCare’

Has Barack Obama lost Bill Maher?

On HBO’s Real Time Friday, the Obama campaign donor’s opening monologue skewered the disastrous rollout of the President’s signature legislative accomplishment including a joke about Wilt Chamberlain having had sex with more people than enrolled at Healthcare.gov (video follows with transcript and commentary):

BILL MAHER: This week we found out how many people have signed up for ObamaCare on the federal website, and they can all fit into the studio here tonight. So welcome ObamaCare enrollees, make some noise. [Applause] No, we, [laughs], out of 50 million uninsured they signed up 26,794. To give you an idea, Wilt Chamberlain had sex with more people than that. Just by a little but he did.

As NewsBusters has been reporting, ObamaCare has now not only become a regular late night joke, but also fodder at last week’s Country Music Association awards.

Now Bill Maher – who contributed a million dollars to Obama’s campaign – is joining in the satire.

Are the shills at MSNBC next, or is it impossible for them to ever report the truth if it hurts the politicians they support?

I hate Bill Maher...he defines the term jerk.

But that is one damned funny line...as good as I've heard in a long time.
