Michigan AG Urges Jews to Sacrifice “Survival” to Elect Abdul El-Sayed
"Sacrifice the comfort, safety and security and even the very future of our own people"

Some endorsements are so bad that they qualify as anti-endorsements. And I can’t think of any endorsement worse than the one that Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, who is Jewish and said that she couldn’t attend the state Dem convention because of fears for her safety, just offered Abdul El-Sayed and her party at the Michigan Jewish Democratic Convention.
“We have a moral imperative to place the needs of the world above even our own self-interest and, yes, even our own survival,” Nessel told attendees.
Nessel acknowledged that Jews were being forced into a “stark choice” thanks to “members of our own party who seek the destruction of Israel as a Jewish state and place the Jewish diaspora in jeopardy.”
She alluded to Queen Esther, the biblical heroine of the Jewish holiday of Purim, in a dramatic illustration of the high stakes of the race.
