Starting Wednesday, you’re able to buy a car from online car sales company Carvana’s newest car vending machine.
You've probably seen the tall glass building going up just north of the Red Mountain Loop 202 off of Scottsdale Road over the past several months -- now the construction is complete and it's loaded up to the top with cars of all makes and models.
“We believe we’re the new way to buy a car and that involves creating great technology and promoting more transparency in giving customers more control in how they buy the car,†said Carvana co-founder Ryan Keeton.
Carvana’s nine-story Tempe tower is the company’s 12th car vending machine in the nation. It will serve as a pick-up experience for customers who purchase a car online through the company's website. Wednesday's launch comes about one year after the company started offering its free car delivery service in the Phoenix metro area.
