What exactly was the point of this?
Exactly what I was thinking while I listened to this. There are so many qualifiers in his statement, and so much wishful thinking, and obvious pandering to the Far Left, to leave this whole statement meaningless.
What would I do?? I'd have sent a couple of Aegis cruisers into the Black Sea to put a radar and missile umbrella over Ukraine, with orders to shoot down any SAM launched by anyone.
Same goes for Israel. I'd have a couple of Aegis armed missile ships off the coast of Gaza to help Israel defend itself, and I would be a needle in Egypt's ass over why they keep allowing Hamas to smuggle Iranian made missiles into Gaza from Egyptian territory.
Among other things.
