Democratic candidate Randy Bryce is running for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan's seat, and he could not be more opposite of him. Bryce, who is an ironworker and Army veteran, thinks Obamacare doesn't go far enough, he wants total single-payer healthcare.
When Bryce was confronted about his position during an interview with CNN, he wouldn't rule out the possibility of a $32 trillion tax hike in order to pay for the single-payer.
The reason is because, according to him, some people aren't paying their “fair share in taxes”:
John Berman: Bernie Sanders, you look at his plan for universal coverage that he ran on during the primary, you know, it could cost 32 trillion dollars over ten years. Even if it's half that, that's a ton of money. How do you propose paying for it?
Randy Bryce: Well, there's a lot of people that are getting away with not paying their fair share in taxes right now, and they benefit the most from society.
Berman: You want to raise 32 trillion dollars in taxes?
Bryce: Well, I'm not saying that we have to look at ways to just increase complete cost. There's a lot of things that we can look at as far as making things cost-effective. But again, there's are a lot of people that are not paying their fair share of taxes...

Truly, I can't knock the guy. He's straight up honest. Better be told you're getting bent over the table up front than get the sneaky surprise when they get into office. At least you can prepare a little.

This Bryce guy must have gone to the Il senate Speaker Mike Madigan's school for taxing average citizens into the welfare and public assistance lines. .

Sumthin' tells me this guy is just "in it for the money".
He knows he won't win, but he wants to attract as much democrat/communist money into his campaign as possible -- hopin' to make off with some of it!

A neurosurgeon where I work just donated $2 million of her own money for a pediatric neurology center. Other doctors there have pledged a combined $5 million.
I'm guessing they don't pay "their fair share" of taxes.

This lazy union worker with the douchestache is going to get his ass handed to him. The 1st District in WI is not Madison. It is right wing and the reason why Ryan wins by a mile all the time. Also this guy is a professional loser....

But it’ll take more than a great ad and working class cred to elect Bryce.
The district covers southeastern Wisconsin from the city of Janesville in the west to Racine and Kenosha to the east on Lake Michigan, south of Milwaukee. It’s Republican. It hasn’t elected a Democrat since 1993. And Ryan has won it with ease since he was first elected nearly 20 years ago.
It went for Trump by 11 percentage points last fall. Ryan won by 35 points.
On top of that, Bryce’s three prior attempts at winning elected office have failed.
He lost a Democratic primary for state assembly in 2012. Two years later, in 2014, Bryce was defeated in the general election for state senate. And in 2013 he lost a 10-way primary for Racine County Board of Education, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Judging from his response, I'm guessing he has no clue how he's going to pay for it.
