Constituents Fed up With Ocasio-Cortez, Says She Doesn’t Spend Enough Time on Them

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, is taking in all the media attention, regularly appearing on television, or making headlines. But her constituents are not impressed.
Many of her voters have complained that the congresswoman is not spending enough time solving local issues and has done a poor job at delivering promises.
“I thought AOC would be our savior, but that’s not the case,†local activist Roxanne Delgado told The New York Post.

The same complaint was made about Hillary Clinton when she was in New York. She was a Senator in name only, as a placeholder to run for President. Hillary had no interest in the least what was happening or not happening in New York. And why should she? She knew nothing about the State in which she was a Senator. She did nothing at all for the people who voted for her.
I get the same sense from AOC. She has national aspirations and is not concerned with some little precinct in NYC. She considers herself to be above being a junior Representative. This is generating blowback. It may hurt her in the next election.

In the Bronx, all she has to do is get her name on the ballot again in 2020 and she'll win. Hands down. Probably zero chance anyone but a democrat-communist could ever be elected in that district. If your name is on the ballot as a dem-com, you win.
Having said that, neither NY state Senate seat is up in 2020.
Schumer's term ends in 2022.
My prediction is that the occasional-communist is going to try to primary Schumer for the seat.
I think her chances of beating him might be even-money at this point.
They'll only improve if Chuck the Schmuck keeps takin' a beatin' from Mr. Trump...
