Title: Religious Themes Banned in Jill Biden’s White House Easter Egg Contest for National Guard Children

Of course they are. It's only Easter, after all.

Religious Themes Banned in Jill Biden’s White House Easter Egg Contest for National Guard Children
by Kristinn Taylor
 Jan. 19, 2024 12:15 pm

Jill Biden is sponsoring a White House “Youth Art” Easter egg decorating contest for children of National Guard servicemembers that bans religious themed eggs, even though Easter is a religious holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ–and the contest announcement states the eggs will be displayed during the Christian and Jewish observances of Easter and Passover.

The youth artists are encouraged to submit designs that reflect their daily lives as children of servicemembers but may not feature “religious symbols, overtly religious themes.” The contest rules state entries “must be consistent with the image and values of Sponsor”, Jill Biden. ...

In addition to barring religious themes on the Easter eggs, political, racist, obscene or discriminatory content is also barred, as is content disparaging the sponsor, i.e., Jill Biden and the Biden administration. Surprisingly, the rules state descriptions of the entries “must be primarily in English.”

The contest also apparently bans any Hunter Biden themed eggs: “The Submission must not promote illegal drugs or firearms (or the use of any of the foregoing).” ...

Just for that, I'm going to decorate my Easter eggs with a victorious Christ wielding an AR-15.

(Just kidding)

Wow.  I've heard of taking Christ out of Christmas, but taking Him out of Easter is a first for me.

It's pretty much "take Christ out of everything, everyday," as far as I can tell.

The Democratic Party has taken the "Easter" out of "Easter Eggs".

Easter is the holiest day of the Christian Calendar.  The Last Supper was a Passover Seder.

Doesn't the exclusion of religious-themed Easter Eggs violate the First Amendment's Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion, for which Nation Guard soldiers risk their lives to defend?

I bet Dr Jill would be just fine if someone entered a picture of a transified Christ, may she and the entire Biden clan enjoy eternity in Hell. The thing about making a deal with the Devil is that the bill always comes due (https://i.imgur.com/gRSXBZE.jpg)

UPDATE March 30, 2024

This Easter Sunday - tomorrow - has been declared "Transgender Day of Visibility" by the Biden White House (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2024/03/29/a-proclamation-on-transgender-day-of-visibility-2024/):

On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect Union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives.

I am proud that my Administration has stood for justice from the start, working to ensure that the LGBTQI+ community can live openly, in safety, with dignity and respect.  I am proud to have appointed transgender leaders to my Administration and to have ended the ban on transgender Americans serving openly in our military.  I am proud to have signed historic Executive Orders that strengthen civil rights protections in housing, employment, health care, education, the justice system, and more.  I am proud to have signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law, ensuring that every American can marry the person they love.  ...

Biden Issues White House Proclamation Declaring EASTER to be ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’
by Cassandra MacDonald
Mar. 30, 2024 7:30 am

Joe Biden has issued a White House proclamation declaring March 31 as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

This March 31, of course, is Easter.

“On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives,” Biden wrote in the declaration." ...

The Democrat also complained that “extremists” are working to keep pornographic books out of the hands of children — and to ban mutilating minors with “sex change” operations.

Biden wrote, “extremists are proposing hundreds of hateful laws that target and terrify transgender kids and their families — silencing teachers; banning books; and even threatening parents, doctors, and nurses with prison for helping parents get care for their children.” ...

Eggs-tra Dumb: 'Overtly Religious Themes' Banned at Biden White House Easter Event

 |
8:00 AM on March 30, 2024

The White House is hosting an egg decorating contest to celebrate the overtly religious holiday, Easter.

The egg designs will be submitted by children of National Guard members and are prohibited from presenting 'religious symbols' or 'overtly religious themes' if they are to be displayed in the residence of the 'devout Catholic' president, Joe Biden.

Sometimes the stupid burns.

Easter is the pinnacle of Christian holy days. It is the day Christians celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus to conquer sin and death - providing hope for eternal salvation for all mankind. Easter is overtly religious, by definition.

The people of Twitter/X were not having it.

Legal Insurrection 3/30/2024

“The Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes”

In yet another casual insult to the vast majority of Americans, the Biden White House has banned all religious imagery and themes in its annual Easter art contest.

Apparently, they are still calling Easter, Easter, but this move is just outrageous. Obviously, they are saying “religious,” but they mean Christian.

'White House Bans Religious Easter Eggs'

'The Biden administration banned children from submitting Easter eggs with religious themes for its 2024 Celebrating National Guard Families art contest.

The competition, which is part of the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll, explicitly stipulated that egg designs not feature any "religious symbols" on the Christian holiday.

"The Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes," a flyer with instructions from the White House stated."

The Daily Caller reports:

The Biden administration banned children from submitting Easter eggs with religious themes for its 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art contest.

The competition, which is part of the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll, explicitly stipulated that egg designs not feature any “religious symbols” on the Christian holiday.

“The Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes,” a flyer with instructions from the White House stated.

. . . . Other restrictions include depictions promoting “bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual based on race, gender, religion, nationality disability, sexual orientation or age,” the White House stated. Child participants were also told not to depict “illegal drugs or firearms” or to include “material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous.”

Scenes from the popular Democrat kiddie porn library are probably fine, though.

As you can imagine, people had thoughts.

Wow.  I've heard of taking Christ out of Christmas, but taking Him out of Easter is a first for me.

They've created this idea that the government should secularize everything relating to Christianity, although they very clearly don't believe that with respect to Islam.
