Trump Lists 14 Things He’ll Do if Republicans Hold the House and Senate
By Craig Bannister | October 19, 2018 | 1:27 PM EDT
On Thursday, President Donald Trump rattled off a list of 14 he plans to do – if Republicans hold on to control of both the House and Senate as a result of November’s midterm elections.
Speaking at a rally in Montana, Trump listed, in rapid order, more than two dozen goals – half of them immigration-related – with continued majorities in both houses of Congress.
“If you vote to elect a Republican House and a Republican Senate, we willâ€:
“Continue to cut your taxes,â€
Cut your regulations,â€
“Raise your income,“
“Make our country great again,â€
“Protect Medicare and Social Security,â€
“Continue confirming judges who interpret the Constitution as written,â€
“Fully secure the border,â€
“Pass Kate’s law,â€
“Stop sanctuary cities,â€
“Stop catch-and-lease,â€
“End the visa lottery,“
“End chain migration,â€
“Keep the criminal drug dealers and terrorists the hell out of our country,†and
“Lift millions of our citizens from welfare to work, dependence to independence, and from poverty to prosperity.â€

Build the wall?
Repeal Obamacare?
-
We can't say Merry Christmas, no more?
-
Republicans failed to keep the promises they made when they took over the House. They have since gained the senate and now the presidency and they still haven't kept their promises. What makes anyone think they will keep any promises now?
-
The Republican Party has been making those empty promises for years with no intention of making good on any of them AFTER we gave them control of both houses and the Presidency.
It's not that I do not believe that the GOP will make good on any promises they make, it's just that I do not believe that the GOP has any intention of making good on any promises they make.

Exactly. Trump has to go through the Congress Critters to deliver what he's promising....and if we don't keep our majority Mr. President...then what? We're royally screwed!
