I've been a Call of Duty nut since the first one came out so of course I bought Black Ops 2 yesterday. I'm almost done with the single player campaign and I find a lot of what they put into it interesting. I'm not all the way through, so there might be more.
- It takes place in 2025 and the 1980s, but the 2025 campaign is more interesting.
- The carrier you operate off of is the U.S.S. Barack Obama (CVN-08). It gets sunk.
- The President is probably supposed to be Hillary.
- The head bad guy is like a nuclear OWSer on steroids
- The U.S. Secretary of Defense is David Petraeus (Yes, that David Petraeus)
- There is a direct reference to 9/11 by Petraeus, and the carrier battle group's commander who was a pilot @ the time and flew a combat mission in response to the attack.
