FBI raids home of Catholic pro-life speaker, author with guns drawn as his terrified kids watch
LifeSite News, Sep 23, 2022

BUCKS COUNTY, Pennsylvania (LifeSiteNews) – A well-known pro-life author, sidewalk counselor, and father of seven was the latest victim of a U.S. Department of Justice-sponsored SWAT raid and arrest — for supposed “FACE Act” violations — at his rural home as his children looked on “screaming.”

Mark Houck is the founder and president of The King’s Men, which promotes healing for victims of pornography addiction and promotes Christian virtues among men in the United States and Europe.

According to his wife Ryan-Marie, who spoke with LifeSiteNews, he also drives two hours south to Philadelphia every Wednesday to sidewalk council for six to eight hours at two different abortion centers.

Ryan-Marie, who is a homeschool mother, explained the SWAT team of 25 to 30 FBI agents swarmed their property with around 15 vehicles at 7:05 a.m. this morning. Having quickly surrounded the house with rifles in firing position, “they started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it.”

Before opening the door, she explained, her husband tried to calm them, saying, “‘Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.’ But they just kept pounding and screaming,” she said.

When he opened the door, “they had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,” Ryan-Marie described.

When they came in, they ordered the kids to stay upstairs. “Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down.”

“The kids were all just screaming. It was all just very scary and traumatic,” she explained.

After asking them why they were at the house, the agents said they were there to arrest Mark. When Ryan-Marie asked for their warrant, “they said that they were going to take him whether they had a warrant or not.”

When Ryan-Marie protested, saying that is kidnapping, “you can’t just come to a person’s house and kidnap them at gunpoint,” they agreed to get the warrant for her from one of their vehicles.

At this point, Mark asked her to get him a sweatshirt and his rosaries, but when she returned, they already had loaded him into a vehicle.

[...]

The warrant charged Mark with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, due to a claimed “ATTACK OF A PATIENT ESCORT.”

Ryan-Marie stated this charge comes from an incident that had already been thrown out of the District Court in Philadelphia but was somehow picked up by Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice.

🧵THREAD: The Biden DOJ is being fully weaponized against his political enemies.

The most horrific case yet might be the story of a Catholic activist from my hometown who had 30 FBI agents sent to his house yesterday to arrest him in front of his wife and seven children.

This event happened almost a year ago.  First, Houck was sued by the alleged 'victim'.  It was only after that lawsuit got tossed that Merrick Garland's 'Justice' [sic] Department got involved.  Think about that.  11½ months after the alleged assault, 30 FBI agents show up at this guy's house to charge him with a federal crime that never took place.

You would think they would have simply had a couple of agents arrested him at the clinic site instead of sending 30 agents to his house almost a year later.

Consider: civil lawsuits rely on a preponderance of evidence, and not the standard of 'beyond a reasonable doubt' that criminal cases do. When the lawsuit failed to reach he lower evidentiary standard of the civil courts, the criminal case should be moot.

Report: FBI SWAT Raids Home of Catholic Pro-Life Activist as ‘Screaming’ Children Watch

Paul Bois24 Sep 20225,768

The FBI subjected a Catholic pro-life activist’s children to a fully-armored SWAT raid this week under the order of the DOJ.

Mark Houck, the founder and president of The King’s Men – a group that helps men overcome pornography addiction – was arrested at his rural Pennsylvania home on Friday for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act during his regular sidewalk counseling outside of an abortion clinic in 2021. Speaking with LifeSiteNews, Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie, said that around 25 to 30 fully-armored FBI agents stormed their property early Friday morning, aiming their rifles as the children screamed in horror.

“They started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it,” Ryan-Marie said of the raid.

Prior to opening the door, Mark allegedly tried to reason with the agents to calm them down for the sake of his children. “Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house,” Houck allegedly told the agents.

The FBI agents allegedly “just kept pounding and screaming,” according to Ryan-Marie.

The Biden Administration is using Federal law enforcement agencies to harass, intimidate and silence their political opposition.

What are we prepared to do about it?

Yes, I am aware that part of their strategy is to provoke violent responses, so that such government efforts can be publicly justified and reinforced.

Accordingly, we must keep our powder dry. But make damn sure you have some on hand.

And VOTE as if your freedom depended on it.

Because this time: it does.

Exactly. Had this fellow tried to protect his wife and children, the FBI would have executed all nine of them, thus protecting America from yet another right-wing extremist insurrectionist.

Sorry Andy.
You're a bright light in the forum, but on this, you're livin' in times that simply don't exist no mo'.

Wait until November 8, and then January 3, and see how things change.
My prediction:
Not very much.

I'll ask one more time:
Is it time yet for that New Continental Congress ?

Consider some words from a document that came to exist as a result of the first one:
"He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance."

"He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us."

"...when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security"

I am unable to find a single story from Oct 2021 that backs up the new claims being made now.  The 'newly discovered facts' are that the assault victim was escorting women into the clinic which is covered under federal statute.  Yet none of this was reported 11 months ago.  Is there a police report available?

FBI Denies Sending SWAT Team to Arrest Catholic Pro-Life Activist Mark Houck

Paul Bois 25 Sep 2022

The FBI has denied sending a swat team of 25-30 agents to arrest Catholic pro-life activist Mark Houck for allegedly shoving an escort outside of a Planned Parenthood clinic last year.

Outrage ensued among conservatives throughout the weekend when it was reported that the FBI subjected Houck’s children to a fully armored SWAT raid last week under the order of the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Mark Houck, the founder and president of The King’s Men — a group that helps men overcome pornography addiction — was arrested at his rural Pennsylvania home on Friday for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act during his regular sidewalk counseling outside of an abortion clinic in 2021. Speaking with LifeSiteNews, Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie, said that around 25 to 30 fully armored FBI agents stormed their property early Friday morning, aiming their rifles as the children screamed in horror.

“They had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,” Ryan-Marie said of the moment that her husband opened the door for the agents.

“Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down,” she said. “The kids were all just screaming. It was all just very scary and traumatic.”

In a statement to Fox News on Sunday, a spokesperson with the FBI Philadelphia field office denied that a SWAT Team had been used to apprehend Mark Houck.

“There are inaccurate claims being made regarding the arrest of Mark Houck. No SWAT Team or SWAT operators were involved. FBI agents knocked on Mr. Houck’s front door, identified themselves as FBI agents and asked him to exit the residence. He did so and was taken into custody without incident pursuant to an indictment,” the FBI said.

The FBI did not deny that up to 25-30 armored agents were on the scene or that Houck’s children witnessed the agents pointing rifles at their father and mother to arrest him for allegedly shoving someone in front of an abortion clinic.

Meanwhile, actual admitted known murders are let go in a couple of hours with no bail.

Not sure people have fully digested what it means that the FBI just sent 30 agents to the home a man because he stands in front of abortion clinics and tells scared young women they have options other than killing the baby.
Are you getting what that means and where we are?

30 FBI agents didn’t show up at a man’s home for a shoving match with a dude at a clinic. You can’t possibly be serious with that. That’s a local matter and a misdemeanor at best.
They went to his home to make an example of him to anyone thinking of opposing The System.

FBI says wife is lying about terrifying SWAT claim describing pro-life activist husband’s arrest
September 26, 2022 | Melissa Fine

The Friday raid and arrest of Catholic father of seven and pro-life activist Mark Houck, 48, by the FBI at his home in Pennsylvania has sparked a social media fire under conservatives who claim the use of a SWAT team is yet another example of the Biden administration’s weaponizing of the Justice Department.

But the FBI is now pushing back against what it calls “inaccurate claims” surrounding the incident.

As BizPac Review reported, Houck, who co-founded The King’s Men, a Catholic ministry for which Houck serves as president, had his house raided for allegedly pushing a 72-year-old pro-abortion man for repeatedly harassing his 12-year-old son while Houck offered sidewalk counseling outside a Planned Parenthood clinic last year.

On Sept. 23, Pennsylvania pro-life activist Mark Houck was arrested on federal criminal charges. The details of the alleged crime and the arrest itself remain disputed, but we know enough to make a couple of observations about our nation and the current political climate.

Houck was arrested in connection with an alleged assault on a volunteer at a Philadelphia abortion facility. Unsurprisingly, the accounts differ as to what occurred. The Department of Justice issued a press release stating that Houck twice assaulted the alleged victim because he was a volunteer at an abortion facility.

Notice that the press release describes not only the alleged action but an alleged motive. Of course, the press release had to state that the assault occurred because the alleged victim was a volunteer at an abortion facility. If that was not the motive, there would be no jurisdiction for the feds to be involved at all. We will get back to that rather questionable issue.

Houck and his family give quite a different account of the alleged assault. Apparently, the abortion facility volunteer was getting into the personal space of Houck’s 12-year-old son and saying vulgar, inappropriate things to him. This harassment by the volunteer toward a young child allegedly went on for weeks. Houck first intervened by telling the volunteer he did not have permission to speak to Houck’s minor child. When the volunteer persisted, Houck eventually shoved him away from his child. Allegedly the man fell but suffered no injuries. ...

A recent article on the incident explains that the Justice Department relies on the section of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act that “prohibits violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services.”

When you look at the statutes, they may be invoked only when a victim was attacked because he was affiliated with the abortion facility or when the attack attempts to interfere with a person’s seeking of an abortion. If Houck’s account is at all true and there was a dispute related to the volunteer speaking to the minor child, then the necessary element for these FACE Act federal charges disappears entirely.

If Mr. Houck has any evidence that he first warned the volunteer not to talk to his son, there is no way the federal government can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Houck pushed the man because he was a volunteer or that he was attempting to prevent anyone from obtaining an abortion by pushing the man. If Mr. Houck pushed the volunteer because of a dispute about the child, there is simply no material for a federal crime. ...
