A total solar eclipse is an amazing feat of nature no matter what, but Texas is in for an even bigger helping of eclipse in just a few years (so hang onto those eclipse glasses!).
In April 2024, another total solar eclipse will plunge parts of Texas into temporary darkness, with portions of San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth in the eclipse's path of totality.
Here in Houston, we'll be 94 percent eclipsed - compare that to the 67 percent we're expecting on Monday.
