WOW: You Won’t Believe How Much NBC “Paid” Chelsea Clinton To Work For Them…
So what do you think?

How much was Chelsea Clinton making per year during her time at NBC? $600,000 a year. What is the median salary for a journalist working in the U.S.? According to the BLS, it is $37,090 a year. In other words, Clinton, despite lacking substantial professional experience as a journalist, gained an extremely lucrative salary at one of the nation’s most famous journalism outlets.
In fact, Barack Obama was making $400,000 a year as President, while Clinton was making $600,000 a year as a new journalist.
Clinton had worked as an analyst at a New York hedge fund before, but then switched over to working at NBC. Now she is on a month-to-month contract with NBC instead of the $600,00 a year. Why? According to Politico, it is because NBC wanted to able to sever ties if Hillary Clinton ran as President. Chelsea has also been working at the Clinton Foundation, which is now her primary job.
Many in the media criticized NBC for choosing her to work the job with no prior professional journalism experience- this was before it was known that she would raking in cash to the tune of $600,000 a year.
So what do you think? How much should Chelsea Clinton have been paid to be a journalist at NBC? Or would she never have been hired at all if it wasn’t for her well-connected parents?

In Clinton's defense, it is a national news outlet, and the median journalist probably works at some small-to-medium market newspaper or television station. The network has a much broader base of revenue. $600,000 for a person who appears on national broadcast television is a little bit high, but not exorbitant compared to others in her field (see how many of them make millions).
The real issue here is how she was able to get that kind of job without "paying her dues." We all know the answer to that.

How much should Chelsea Clinton have been paid to be a journalist at NBC?
Whatever NBC wanted to pay her. They're a private company.
Or would she never have been hired at all if it wasn’t for her well-connected parents?
Duh.

Duh.
There are ways of funneling money to the Clintoons and then there are ways...

NEW YORK (AP) -- Chelsea Clinton said Friday she is quitting her job as a reporter at NBC News, citing increased work at the Clinton Foundation and imminent birth of her first child.
Bill and Hillary Clinton's daughter had been working at the network since 2011, sporadically doing feature stories on people or organizations doing public-spirited work. Politico magazine reported earlier this year that NBC was paying her $600,000 a year.
"I loved watching the "Making a Difference" stories about remarkable people and organizations making a profound difference in our country and our world," Clinton said in a statement posted on her Facebook page. "I am grateful NBC gave me the opportunity to continue this important legacy."
She was initially hired to do stories for Brian Williams' "Rock Center" newsmagazine, but that program was canceled. Her work occasionally appeared on NBC's "Nightly News."
Two Clinton stories that aired in January were on education programs targeting the underprivileged. She's done stories on a school program for jailed teenagers named after Maya Angelou, an Arkansas tutoring program and a restaurant chain that donates leftover food to the needy. Her last story appeared on Aug. 1.
"Chelsea's storytelling inspired people across the country and showcased the real power we have as individuals to make a difference in our communities," said Alex Wallace, senior vice president at NBC News.
Her exit removes some potential awkwardness for the network if her mother runs for president in 2016. NBC made certain to keep Clinton off the air around the time her mother was making media appearances to promote a book, to avoid any appearance of conflict. NBC also received some criticism when stories about her salary appeared; the network didn't comment on the reports.
Both Wallace and Clinton left open the possibility that Clinton could someday return to NBC. "While my role with NBC News may be coming to an end, I look forward to working with the NBC family well into the future," Clinton said on Facebook.
Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, announced this spring that she is pregnant with her first child.

If it was five bucks, it was too much. After all, Chelsea just can't find it in herself to care about money.

If that is all she made, she is as broke as her parents.
