Harsh winds and lightning from a massive dust storm displaced trees and demolished homes across northern India on Wednesday, killing at least 100 people and injuring more than 200 others, officials said.

At least 65 people were killed in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, with the majority of them — 43 — in Agra, the city that houses the Taj Mahal, according to BBC News. More than three dozen people were injured.
