Witness testifies about excerpts from Trump's book on loyalty: "DO NOT TRUST ANYONE"

Here are a few of the excepts that were shown to jurors about loyalty from Donald Trump's book, “Think Big: Make It Happen in Business and Life."

    “DO NOT TRUST ANYONE”
“I used to say, “Go out and get the best people, and trust them.” Over the years I have seen too many shenanigan, and now I say, “Get the best people, and don't trust them.” Do not trust them because if you don’t know what you are doing, they are going to rob you blind.’
“I think the reason we have so many loyal people is that we reward loyalty, and everybody knows this... People like Allen Weisselberg and Matt Calamari are great and have proven themselves over many years.”
    I just can’t stomach disloyalty”
“My motto is : always get even. When somebody screws you, screw them back in spades.

She is now on cross-examination with Trump attorney Todd Blanche.

She was enjoying the accolades she was getting from Democrats and the media for being opposed to Trump that she started believing that those entities really liked her

This happened to McCain. He thought the same entities  liked him and supported him because he was a critic of the GWB administration. Then he ran for president and reality set in

Biden struggles to get on Ohio’s November ballot

.

Ohio lawmakers’ efforts to ensure President Joe Biden is on the state ballot in November hit a road bump on Wednesday as the legislature adjourned without a fix.

A state law requiring presidential candidates to certify their nomination to the secretary of state’s office 90 days before the November election could keep Biden off the ballot.

ELECTION 2024: FOLLOW LATEST COVERAGE

The Democratic National Convention won’t confirm Biden as the nominee until Aug. 19, which falls after the Ohio 90-day deadline on Aug. 7.

Ohio’s Senate leaders passed a bill that temporarily fixed the problem by allowing certification 74 days before the election. The legislation also prohibited foreign investment in state ballot measures, which differed from a House version of the bill and that House Democrats disavowed.

The House version introduced earlier this week allowed Biden on the ballot and prevented future scheduling conflicts.

On Wednesday, the House adjourned without taking up any version of the bill.

I don't think they had to... Any large movement of documents is going to be full of SNAFU. Whole boxes tossed around for moving... In the natural order of things, misfiled and misplaced documents happen all the time.

All they needed was a reason to go looking.
