This Video May Explain Part of the Reason Joe Biden Seems Clueless on the Economy
By Nick Arama | 9:03 PM on May 04, 2024

Joe Biden and his economic team have frequently seemed clueless when it comes to what's going on with the economy.

If we go back to 2021, first, they denied inflation, then they claimed it would be " transitory," then they tried to blame it on everyone and anything else but Biden and his policies.

Let's listen to Jared Bernstein, who was on Joe Biden's Council of Economic Advisers, as he explained in 2022 that it depends on what the meaning of "transitory" is. This is right up there with Bill Clinton for gall, and Kamala Harris for word salad.

It's your fault if you thought "transitory" meant temporary/not going to be here long. It's your fault that we're still being hit by inflation three years later.

Biden's Handler Messes Up and Fails to Cover Him As His Stilted Walk to Helicopter Is Exposed
By Nick Arama | 1:06 PM on May 04, 2024

We've been covering the continuing saga of Joe Biden's handlers trying to deal with his issues.

I reported on this on Friday, as he came back to the White House from campaigning in North Carolina. He seemed to have great trouble going down the steps from Marine One very slowly. His left heel caught/dragged on a step, and had it caught a little bit more, he likely would have done a face-plant right on the lawn. Whatever steps they are employing to help his walking, they're not working.

But there's only so much they can do with the failed product they're trying to sell. You can't cover him every minute and you can only spin so much. And it looks like they failed a bit on Friday evening as he headed out to Marine One, on the way to yet another weekend vacation in Wilmington.

According to reports, they're supposed to be walking with him to prevent the media from being able to focus on his bad gait that makes him look like he's ancient. It has the side benefits of showing Biden where to go and preventing him from talking with reporters.

But the handler walking with him made a mistake; she fell down on her duty. She walked initially on the left side, not the right side, so she wasn't preventing the media from seeing Biden and the media got a good look at just how bad his stilted walk is. Check out the right leg, and the robotic, stilted walk to the helicopter.

He's Getting Worse: Now the Biden Team Is Trying to Reduce Joe's Speaking Time
Nick Arama
~4 minutes

The Biden team is scrambling, trying to figure out how to deal with a problem like Joe Biden.

They've put him in new shoes to help prevent him from tripping. They've reportedly had handlers covering him, standing between the media and Biden to obscure his stilted, elderly walk. They got him the short stairs to reduce steps into Air Force One. But as we've said, that's still not hiding all the issues.

Now, they've come up with a new plan, according to NBC — they're going to be shortening his speeches.

Less is more, they claim, and "quality over quantity."

https://twitter.com/RNCResearch/status/1786886391311298907

“There’s a strategic advantage at this point in the race to boiling down your message to the three or four most salient, compelling arguments for why President Biden should be re-elected,” said TJ Ducklo, the Biden campaign’s senior adviser for communications. “That will often translate to the stump [speech] being whittled down to its sharpest, most dynamic form. That’s what you’re seeing.”

Oh, come on, man. Should we also note that Ducklo was the guy who threatened to "destroy" a reporter then resigned after an outcry? Biden had promised to boot anyone involved in harassment. Yet here he is again on Biden's campaign team. So much for Biden's promise.

Even NBC wasn't exactly buying Ducklo's line now.

Secret message, y'all!

P.S. It's Cinco de Mayo. Are you going to get in a huff about it or are you going to enjoy some delicious Mexican food today? Or both?

Not that anyone ever needs an excuse for having Mexican food.

1. Do you have a doppelganger? (Has anyone ever told you that you look like someone who's "famous" or "infamous"? Do you agree/disagree?)

2. What's something you're kind of snobby about?

3. At what age did you consider yourself an adult?

He’s trying to have it both ways

But it won’t work

One hopes.  However, the U.S. media will do its level best to make sure he can have it both ways.

There is a sizable cadre of “professional troublemakers” at these things.  They were present at the OccupyWallStreet riots as well.  They steal to support themselves - credit card fraud and identity theft mainly - and they do nothing but foment trouble.  They are, it goes without saying, all leftists.

American fishing vessel operators accused of transporting 12 unauthorized Mexicans, Rumanian off California coast
ccording to court documents, the Coast Guard spotted a vessel entering U.S. territorial waters from Mexico and moved to intercept it.

An officer interviewed the boat’s captain, Steven Giffin, and was told only two people were onboard fishing. But the Coast Guard crew allegedly noticed the fishing rods lacked reels and were not the kind used for catching tuna.

The Coast Guard also interviewed Jonathan Brent Salter, the boat’s other occupant, who told officers he had been working on the engine; further questioning allegedly revealed that the vessel had met with another boat in Mexico “to pick up people,” records show.
