Can Democrat politicians, who can't even complete a single state train project, be trusted to control the climate?

The California high speed train that was highly touted in 2008 has been cancelled, with only a stub section in the flat and rural Central Valley already under construction to be completed, because the price tag has spiked to $77 billion and the completion date was pushed to 2033. The people throughout the U.S. sent $3.5 billion tax dollars towards this boondoggle, which Governor Newsom says he won’t pay back. They are so entitled.
Shouldn’t some enterprising reporter investigate who all the money was wasted on? How much money went to politically connected people and companies?

The California high-speed train was doomed before the first shovel of dirt was dug.
It was an impossible dream, not enough money in America to build it. Going to the moon was cheaper.

The same question could be asked can Democrats, who can’t complete a single state train, or balance their city budgets, or clean up their cities be trusted to control the climate and your health care?

A judge sided with Texas landowners who pushed back against the prospect of being forced to sell their land for a proposed high-speed rail line connecting Houston and Dallas.
Leon County Judge Deborah Evans ruled this month that Texas Central Railway doesn't have the authority to force landowners to sell or provide access to their properties for its planned 200-mph bullet train, the Houston Chronicle reported.
