Shep Smith: ‘Fox News Cannot Confirm Judge Napolitano’s Commentary’
by Josh Feldman | 3:24 pm, March 17th, 2017

With all the attention on Fox News right now because of a report from Judge Andrew Napolitano about surveillance on Trump being conducted by British intel agency GCHQ, it didn’t take long after President Trump‘s presser for Shep Smith to respond on Fox.

GCHQ is outraged that the White House shared this report, and when the president was confronted about his tweets today, he said, “You shouldn’t be talking to me, you should be talking to Fox.”

It isn't just Shep. Looks like this is the official network position.

It isn't just Shep. Looks like this is the official network position.

Bret Baier says the Fox News Division has found no evidence to back up the Andrew Napolitano claim of Trump surveillance involving the Brits
— Brit Hume (@brithume) March 17, 2017 (https://twitter.com/brithume/status/842870666110160896)

I'm no fan of Shep but all he did was read the official stance of the network. It does explain all the tweets encouraging Baier to kill himself.

I can confirm Judge Napolitano’s commentary.

It's his opinion.

Wasn't the phony Buzzfeed-published "dossier" that alleged ties between Trump and the Russians put together by a former Brit MI6 intel operative - Christopher Steele - and verified to John McCain by former Brit Ambassador to Moscow Andrew Wood?

The notion that the Brits were never involved in some form of surveillance or other intelligence program targeting the Trump campaign and/or the Russians is a bit tenuous given their involvement in the dossier fiasco initiated during the primaries and revealed during the transition.
