'Mother Theresa could not beat these charges,' Trump says as jury begins deliberating
By Kaydi Pelletier

"Mother Theresa could not beat these charges," Donald Trump said to reporters in the court hallway just now, shortly after the jury was released from the courtroom to begin deliberating.

"The trial is rigged. The judge is so conflicted, he can't breathe."

I'm always looking for a reason to vote for Donald Trump.  It's just that you are never able to come up with one.  But you do come up with plenty of reasons not to.  Just so your ego is clear about that.  It's not you.  It's the content of what you post.

You're full of crap @Hoodat

You said that while lying in bed at night you think of @Right_in_Virginia and myself as reasons not to vote for him.

Like Lt. Kaffee said in A FEW GOOD MEN:  "I can have the court reporter read it back to you!!"    :tongue2:

Merchan back on Violating Tax Laws.

The “Honorable Judge” says it is unlawful to file false tax returns, even if it does not result in underpayment of taxes.

Too bad the prosecution failed to submit into evidence a single example where Trump violated tax laws.

But wait! There's more!

Biden Judicial Nominee Opposed Laws to Make Sex Crimes Against Children Felonies. Stacey Neumann served on the Board of MADCL, which wrote a letter opposing LD 1435. The law upgraded “commercial sexual exploitation of a child” and “solicitation of a child for commercial sexual exploitation” to a felony (as opposed to a misdemeanor, which it was before the legislation at issue). ...

Merchan, the “Honorable Judge” is now describing the third law the Soros funded DA attempted to prove President Trump was guilty of: Violation of Tax Laws.

But that's not true.  The Soros funded DA didn't even bring that up until closing arguments.  There was zero evidence or testimony produced that implicate Trump for tax law violations.

Biden continues to appoint absolute morons to the federal bench.

Senators grill Biden judicial nominee over transgender inmate transfer request despite sex crimes convictions

Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn recommended in 2022 that William McClain, who goes by July Justine Shelby, be housed with female prisoners
 By Louis Casiano

A President Biden judicial nominee was grilled Wednesday over a 2022 recommendation that a biological male, who has apparently transitioned and identifies as a female, be transferred to a female prison despite previous convictions for raping children and possession of child pornography.

During a Senate Judiciary hearing, Republican Sens. John Kennedy of Louisiana, and Ted Cruz of Texas, questioned U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn, who was nominated to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, over why she recommended William McClain, who goes by July Justine Shelby, be housed with female inmates in a federal prison.

"Miss Shelby said I don't want to go to a male prison. I want to go to a female prison," Kennedy told Netburn. "And the Board of Prisons said 'What planet did you parachute in from? You're going to a male prison with this kind of record.' And you sent him to a female prison, did you? You said that the Board of Prisons was trying to violate Ms Shelby, former Mr. McClain's, constitutional right, didn't you?"  ...

Editorial/Opinion/Blogs / Re: Does racism still exist?

Yes, racism still exists.

The election of the first African American President does not mean we are living in a post-racial society.

Those facing racial discrimination may also be faced with class discrimination.

America's class structure is becoming more stratified; upward mobility among urban poor and rural poor is constrained by lack of access to resources upper middle class suburbanites take for granted - computers; high-speed internet; Advanced Placement Courses; PSAT / SAT / ACT exam preparation classes and tutors; professional college admission application consultants; professional student aid application consultants; and ability to fund a college 529 Savings Plan.

Urban and rural poor are at a competitive disadvantage when applying for college admission because they are competing against suburban applicants with significant competitive advantages.

College admission is a zero-sum game - there are only so many incoming freshman applicants accepted by any university in any given year.

Merchan told the jury, " You must always find the GUILTY party GUILTY even if you think the GUILTY party is not GUILTY"

He might as well have.

I've visited a few concentration camps - Dachau and Flossenburg in Germany, and Struthof Natzwiller in France - and can attest that there's no more sobering experience. We were at Flossenburg in a pouring rain, and I tried to picture the inmates standing in weather like that, and worse, during roll call for hours on end. Very sad.

Thus caller ID. I never answer calls from political organizations.

Being retired, and occasionally bored, I'll make games out of these calls.

My coffee klatch formed a club many years ago, where we would have money pool tournments to see things like:

1. How long we could keep the telemarketer on the line.
2. Most innovative call
3. How many uses of the "word of the week" would be used in a call.

I was the grand champ of time length, with one call lasting one hour and 37 minutes.
