Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,†House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) compared President Donald Trump to the former Italian National Fascist Party and Prime Minister Benito Mussolini.
Guest host Dana Bash said, “You said that you don’t think President Trump would be willing to give up his office and that, quote, ‘He thinks that the American people will be duped by him like the people of Germany were duped by Adolf Hitler. Do you think Donald Trump is comparable to Adolf Hitler?â€
Clyburn said, “What I said started about two-and-a-half, maybe three years ago after one of his state of the unions. That I feel very strongly that this man has taken on as tactics. I feel very strongly that he is Mussolini. Putin is Hitler. I said that back then, and I believe that. I believe very strongly this guy never had an idea about being want to peacefully transfer power. I don’t think he plans to leave the White House. He doesn’t plan to have a fair election. I believe that he plans to install himself in some kind of emergency way to continue hold on to office. That is why the American people had better wake up. I know a little bit about history, and I know how countries find their demise. It is when we trail to let democracy and the fundamentals of which is a fair and unfettered election and why he is trying to put a cloud over this election and floating the idea of postponing the elections.â€

A friend of mine has a son roughly 45 living in Seattle, living the affluent life and making more than the president of the USA. This guy was anti Trump and anti anything that made sense, basically he was a devout Democrat, mindless to the core. But no longer. He is seeing what the Democommies are doing to the country, and he does not like it. I would not be surprised if he votes for Trump, or at least, votes third party.
As long as the fools, extreme idiots of the Democommie Party continue down the path they are on, I do not expect them to win anything. I see both houses of Congress going to the Republicans. No one with any intelligence accepts the Dems unless they are part of the group seeking power.
Minorities are awakening to the facts of the Dems. They are realizing that it is the Dems that have held them down, and have done it with great success. This election may well be one of the most important in history. The Dems have a disability. Somehow they think having repeated losers will generate a win, and do not see that these losers will remain so.
Leo Terrell is an example of the awakening. Staunch Dem. Now he claims he will vote for Trump. I tell you, the tsunami is coming in November.

I sincerely hope you are right @jafo2010 and I think you are. The Democommies were doing fine and moving steadly toward winning it all until Trump came along and threw a very large turd in their punch bowl. They grossly over reacted and I, for one thank God for that. The mask has been ripped off and millions are now seeing what they really are for the first time.

I honestly believe, despite the fact that many of us decry some POTUS' outbursts on twitter, that those same outbursts are an integral part of the Democommies' unhinging. He has baited and badgered them to the degree that they have angered. Angry people do stupid things, and they have become obsessed with ousting him to the point that:
Tens of thousands of Americans have died unnecessarily of a disease that has been used politically
Untold numbers will likely suffer, because in their obsession to discredit Trump, alleged Doctors have colluded to keep the American people from a remedy that has shown great effect (well, everywhere but the USA and Great Britain, if you believe our media), ensuring economic woes, misery, and sometimes death.
Numbers of agencies including the CDC, NIAID, the WHO, got it wrong, repeatedly, and even the Medical Journals Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine hastened to publish research articles that were later retracted, something which very rarely happens in scientific literature, because the review boards scrutinize the publications beforehand. As a result, their reputations are tainted, at the very least.
Unnecessarily crashed an economy that was clicking along tickety-boo, using the disease as an excuse, and pissing off an incredible number of rank-and-file folks who had busted their keesters to get back on an even keel.
Destroyed innumerable small businesses.
Permitted rioting and looting in Cities under Democrat control, without interference from Democrat governors, widespread lawlessness tolerated in an attempt to get the POTUS to push the Constitutional limits of His office so the House could try a second impeachment...as if the ongoing criminal farce of the first impeachment was not sufficient stupidity. More lives lost and disrupted, more businesses destroyed, and a Commie field day.
The list goes on, and I have only mentioned some more recent and egregious actions.
Because of the existing intensive network of corruption in government, especially in the Democrat Party, but not limited thereto, POTUS' first term has plagued with distractions, illegally investigated, had classified material leaked in an effort to make the POTUS look bad, and had investigations slow walked or derailed to try to run out the clock on his time in office.
Rather than see all that work go to waste (It's be buried if Biden is elected, Pronto, and in the best Clintonian tradition, witnesses would disappear or have tragic accidents, suicides, botched robberies and a host of other misadventures guaranteeing their silence in perpetuity.) I'd like to see all this play out to prosecutions and convictions of those guilty of this perfidy, abuse of power, criminality under color of law, and treason.
It's like watching a show you'd hoped you'd never see, but now you just have to know where it goes from here... :shrug:

Well, not only are the racist elements of the New Left willing to throw the 'white woke' out as cannon fodder, but I believe their rationale is that the people opposed to them will refuse to fire upon them if it comes to a shooting war because they are white, and that police will not be as willing to enforce the law against Molotov Cocktail throwing soccer moms as they might black youths engaging in the same activity. The true definition of useful idiots applies..
It's also the sort of miscalculation that results from mentally gathering people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds under a single monolithic group (to hate) based on superficial characteristics: thinking whites won't engage whites in physical conflict because they are whites. There is some projection there of an assumed brotherhood based on skin color as well, although homicide statistics would not bear out a reluctance on the part of blacks to injure or kill other blacks. It is only the heroic competence of some trauma departments in hospitals which receive such cases regularly which keeps that statistic from being even higher.
The Monolithic "White People" model, designed to mentally eliminate every person who ever said or did anything nice, who ever interacted civilly or just treated people as people without any regard for appearance, is well ingrained in the 'Victim Psyche', and is essential to hating.
The mindset appears to be:"ALL of (fill in the blank, this time with "whites") are bad, regardless of your personal experience. Even those who were decent are not really that way."
Without that monolithic model (for which "white privilege" is an essential promotional tool), people might start looking on people as individuals, and then there'd be individual responsibility for one's actions, and eventually, one's educational level, fiscal success, living conditions, etc.--an entire set of concepts anathema to the Socialist/Communist model, which requires victims and victimizers so deserved equality can be imposed by the elites.
The problem with the monolithic model for Whites is that it patently ignores the lessons of thousands of years of European warfare, right up to and beyond World Wars One and Two. For that matter, the monolithic model doesn't work for blacks, either, at least those cognizant of the millennia of tribal conflicts in Africa, and is only made possible here by the loss of those tribal affiliations through the transatlantic trade and subsequent years here, and the assumption of former bondage by ancestors here (not always the case).
Anyway, if the SHTF (hopefully avoidable), all that won't matter, so much as what side one is on.

I have one son and two daughters, and I have no idea of their political inclinations, although, if I had to guess, I would say they are conservatives.
I have one step daughter, and she is a flaming liberal who knows literally nothing about the realities of politics. When I talk to her, it is repeatedly an ah-ha moment of things she did not know. Typical totally ignorant liberal. She has even lower knowledge than the low volume information voter. In her defense, she came from Russia when she was 11 years of age with no knowledge of English. She has done well academically, is in medical school right now and doing well. She knows science and little else.
