Is ‘Democratic Socialism’ a Cover for Communism?

Last month, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) claimed to oppose Soviet “authoritarian communism†and to support “democratic socialism.â€
Yet, according to Bishop E.W. Jackson, chairman of the new group Stand Against Communism, “Socialism and communism are exactly the same, and we will not allow euphemisms to lull us to sleep.â€
Who is right?
A set of experts assembled May 20 argued that America needs to beware of both.
They dedicated themselves to pushing back against the increasing prevalence in America of an ideology implicated in the extermination of an estimated 94,351,000 human lives, as of 1999.

Socialism is the control of the economy by the gov. Communism is a particular form of socialism which involves state farms, collectivization, and some other things.
Sanders, AOC, and all the rest of the socialist clowns might say they're not commies, but the end result of them in power would be control of the economy and much of the lives of individuals by the gov. They already have people going around in Seattle checking people's garbage to make sure they're not throwing away too much food.
American socialists are just itching to establish laws that would allow the gov. to interfere with more aspects of American life. Their banning gasoline-powered automobiles, guns, meat, is not out of the question. Maybe you shouldn't be allowed to venture outside your enclosure into the countryside lest you spoil nature....that would be reserved for special members of the government.
Whether they call it communism or socialism, the end result after Sanders and AOC are finished would be, like the ex-Soviet Union, a totalitarian society.
Inside the body of every leftist beats the heart of a totalitarian waiting to burst out.

I know I've related this before, when the Russians had taken over Hungary they allowed the people to vote on whether they would live under communism or socialism. The people voted for socialism and then the Russians told them, well you get communism it's all the same thing.
