House Democrats considering probe into Giuliani's overseas political work: report
By John Bowden - 06/07/19 09:19 AM EDT
Top Democrats in the House are reportedly discussing plans to investigate the president's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, for his overseas political work.
A source familiar with the discussions told The Daily Beast that no plans are yet set in stone, but said a potential probe would likely look into whether Giuliani's foreign activities affected U.S. foreign policy.
Democrats are reportedly interested in trips Giuliani took to Romania and Armenia, according to The Daily Beast. Lawmakers are also reportedly eyeing Giuliani's contacts with political figures in Ukraine over allegations that former Vice President Joe Biden's son was on the board of a company that was previously under investigation there.
