The iconic spire of the Freedom Tower in New York City was illuminated green last night as a rebuttal to President Donald Trump's decision to pull out to of the controversial Paris Agreement.
The decision was made by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in response to Trump's announcement, which reverses the course set by President Barack Obama and 194 other foreign countries in 2015. The decision makes good on a campaign promise by then-candidate Trump to withdraw from the agreement, which the president says is bad for American manufacturing and workers.

A lot of people are angry about this. Freedom Tower belongs to the American people. It is not a play-toy for Cuomo use every time he gets upset about something. Furthermore, what happened on 9/11 has nothing whatsoever to do with a Climate Treaty. He should have used the Empire State instead.
