Quote

Former Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) is joining CNBC as a contributor.

CNBC's managing editor Nick Dunn tweeted Friday that the former congressman and prickly liberal firebrand had joined the channel.

Pleased to announce former US Congressman @BarneyFrank has joined @CNBC as our latest contributor.

Frank, who served as the chairman of the Financial Services Committee when he was in Congress, once stormed off the set of CNBC after a heated exchange with the channel's Mark Haines. Haines and Frank were discussing limiting executive compensation.

"It seems to be that you're dealing with a model that no longer works," Haines said referring to Frank's proposal for changing executive pay rules. The conversation escalated and after Frank repeatedly tried to interject he ended the interview.

Am I the only one noticing that increasingly the title is repeated over and over in the first lines of these "journalism stories?"

tweeting and retweeting and posting others' tweets, adds little or no content.

Counting the title it is stated five times, here.
