CEBU, Philippines (AP) — The death toll from a 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck the central Philippine island of Bohol has risen to 85.
Police in Bohol have reported that 69 of the deaths came from the island, where the quake hit Tuesday morning near the town of Carmen.
The quake toppled buildings and historic churches in the area.

He posted this on another site:
Guys if you want to help a bunch of brown people who have lost their homes, please donate to like the philippine red cross or something. People in Bohol, especially the ones near the epicenter, have no houses, no food, no water, or roads to deliver food and water to them easily. Donate like a dollar or whatever.
Don't be misled by the tone - he's a smart, sarcastic 20 something idiot and can't help it.
