New pictures have emerged which show Joe Biden's German Shepherd, Commander biting yet another White House staffer just as presidential sources tried to lay the blame for the animal's aggressive behavior on Secret Service agents.
White House sources on Monday made the assertion that Commander targets members of the president's security detail because of their 'unfriendly expressions.'
Now DailyMail.com can reveal that the two-year-old German Shepherd bit another member of staff barely two weeks ago.

I read that the WH staffers thought they were immune from being chomped by Commander. For some reason, they'd convinced themselves this mad dog went after USSS agents exclusively.
-
As a German Shepherd fan, this is rather embarrassing. The first GS in a century and this is what we get.
They are gorgeous dogs, BTW. Rarely do I see dogs so gorgeous amongst the hyper-fancier set, of any stripe.
I have to wonder where they’re getting these dogs and how they’re being raised. How did they pick them? I figured Major was probably a pound dog, but not sure, and Commander seems to be a pup when they got him? (Elder, almost mature, but maybe as a true pup?)
At the least, it seems they are no good at picking dogs. Because choosing is important, and not just how cute they are. Personality is usually pretty clear.
-
Our lifetime of having dogs as pets have taught us that 90% of the time, biting dogs are a reflection of bad dog owners.
-
It's just a prop dog, like Obama's.

I understand they got Commander from Biteme's brother. I fear Commander is a victim of trash breeding.

You mean trash breeders.
-
Am I the only one surprised because neither Joe or Hunter has bitten anyone on the staff?
Or maybe they did,and the poor pooch is stuck with taking the rap?
-
It's just a prop dog, like Obama's.
@mountaineer
And THERE it is.
The poor pooch has probably never been shown any affection in his lifetime, other than for photo ops,and even then he is probably drugged to keep him from biting Slow Joe.

Are you saying the poor dog is an inbred, and has Biden blood?
Where is the SPCA and the animal cruelty laws on this?

My uncle had a German Shepherd (Max) that was stupid mean, and my uncle traveled with the dang thing. We all hated the jerk of a dog that only behaved around Uncle "Ted" (not real name). Soon as Ted disappeared out of sight (often because he loved to roam and talk) at family functions, one of us kids would be rough housed and bit. Nobody cried when Max died, but Uncle "Ted" got different dogs and they were just as obnoxious (barking, overly playful, required watching to keep out of things).
Got so bad, we just told Ted to keep his dang dogs at home. He never did.

Finally looked at this DM piece and that was not very convincing. The photos nor the commentary convince me the gardener was seriously “attacked” or even pierced. This indeed could’ve been a “nip” as he looked like a playful grab in that photo. And the other photos he does not look “aggressive”. Further no complaints about it from the gardener? We heard about the SS so I don’t believe we wouldn’t hear it about him.
Is it good behavior? No. But I don’t know this constitutes “vicious attack” or even serious bite.

I read somewhere last night (don't really recall where - I was mostly watching baseball while scrolling) that the gardener has said that he wasn't "bitten", that the dog was just playing, and his worst injury was a little bit of dog slobber on his arm. None of which negates the fact that the dog is obviously not well-behaved or well-controlled and should not be in that environment.

German Shepherds make really good seeing eye dogs, and therapy dogs. I

How a person treats his animals is a window into his black soul and lack of conscience. Anyone who mistreats animals is an evil human being.
The fact that this is being reported means they want to get rid of Quid Pro Pedo Joe

I was simply replying to this specific incident, which UKDM is trying to pump up to something it’s not.
I just prefer accurate recounting.
If he has bitten seriously a bunch of agents, he should be removed, if not more.
-
It's not the dogs fault. He had probably seen Slow Joe bite a staffer,so he was just trying to fit in by pleasing his master.

Watch: Video of Biden Allegedly Kicking Dog Goes Viral After the Vicious Pooch Is Banished from White House
By Bryan Chai
October 6, 2023 at 12:09pm
Whether you think dogs are merely a bunch of hairy mongrels or whether you think they’re man’s best friend, it’s generally accepted that a dog’s owner will wield significant influence in how a dog acts and behaves.
And that largely accepted theory could explain a lot about the plight of Commander Biden — the “first dog” of the White House.
Or, actually, the former first dog, because Commander was unceremoniously removed from the White House after reports came out that the 2-year-old German shepherd had attacked various White House staffers.

I believe animal abuse is now a federal felony. If so, why isn't old Joe being charged, especially with a video of him kicking the dog?

Merged threads. All "demented man bites dog" (or Joe Biden abuses dogs) posts may go here.

I've seen the video. It shows a completely untrained dog, and I don't see any kicking.

Yeah, Biden’s not kicking him. He’s trying to get around him. Probably fell too.
Frankly I believe in corporal punishment. That doesn’t mean abuse, that means when it’s needed. If the dog was trying to seriously bite someone you damn well bet I’ll kick him.
I’m from old school. Before Dr. Spock ruined everything - and is probably the true ultimate cause of all the US problems.

One would expect better training of the Presidential First Dog in the first place.

@Cyber Liberty
The problem is he isn't really a dog. He is a socially-required accessory for photo ops.
I doubt anybody but career WH staffers have even petted him.
The dog deserves better. I hope a good home is found for him once Biden leaves office and they no longer need him.

Obama had a full-time dog caretaker, as I recall. Hard to believe there was absolutely no one available to do some obedience training with this Biden pup. *****rollingeyes*****

Americans don’t train dogs. They “love” them. Americans never really used dogs for working and they don’t fully respect them. Respect is much different from “love”.
That includes today where we’ve adopted the Dr. Spock approach to dogs. Can’t even look at them wrong. It’s nonsense. It hasn’t done our society any favors spoiling children rotten, and the dogs being spoiled is just more sign of decline.
-

I noticed decades ago how Klintoon came up with a dog toward the end of their tenure. Strange that they suddenly decided to have a dog.
Likewise Uhbama, though he did it faster (I DESPISE how suddenly all these liberals around here had a Portuguese Water Dog pulling them around the neighborhoods, which they never knew before their Savior got 1).
The Bushes at least had their own dogs for real.
Then there is Trump, for whom suddenly none of the conservative forum members were mentioning “dog ownership is a sign of how good a person is” (much like silence on his MIL record). But then, one could congratulate Trump for not capitulating to the nonsense that presidents have to have dogs to be relatable and “good”.

Trump just lives rent-free in your head 24-7,doesn't he?

Again, I mainly despise the hypocrisy of EverTrumpers who 20 years ago demanded one thing, but now are silent on it.
Honestly Trump is ok not to try to look good by suddenly getting a dog while in the WH. That was what Klintoon and Uhbama did.

Yes, I thought at the time it was good Trump didn't do that. The phoniness of Clinton and Osamaobama was so obvious.

Plus, I just cannot fathom Donald Trump petting a dog. Letting it jump up on the sofa or the bed.
I can picture Melania with a pet, but not her husband.

We never had a dog in our home, growing up.
But soon as all us kids were gone, by dad brought home a GS puppy...ZEKE!
Bit my dad twice before he rehomed him to a farm outside the city...at least that's the story I was told.
My dad was a raging alcoholic who ended up blinking and yelling at the TV commercials...so IMO, he probably didn't walk Zeke on many days. Pissed Zeke off!!
I'd have bitten him too! happy77

There are plenty of bad ones out there. One must choose wisely, in person (none of this cross-country garbage). Prefer a puppy, because there is little baggage. Then one must condition and train.
But there are dogs who just plain are no good, and no matter what anyone says, it's not the fault of some human except maybe poor breeding. Not many, but they exist for sure. GS have enough problems with character without people being stupid and careless about it.

You say that like it is a BAD thing.
It's not. What we NEED is a President that is an ego maniac who cares about nothing, other than how the history books address his time in office.
The fact that he can only serve one term is a bonus because he won't waste any time worrying about getting re-elected 4 years down the road.

You seem unable to comprehend that it’s OK for Trump not to do what media says he should do (as did most “conservatives” on FR).
In many ways I’m glad he didn’t go in for a dog just to “improve the image”. Always thought that was quite stupid.
