Obama: Americans Want 'New Car Smell' in 2016
Sunday, November 23, 2014 10:10 AM

President Barack Obama says he wants a Democrat in the White House in 2016 and is pledging to do everything possible to help that nominee succeed.

At the same time, Obama says the public wants that "new car smell" when it comes to the next presidential campaign.

In an interview broadcast Sunday on ABC's "This Week," Obama says: "They want to drive something off the lot that doesn't have as much mileage as me."

He says Hillary Rodham Clinton, his former secretary of state, and a number of other potential Democratic candidates would make great presidents, but he didn't name other names.

Obama acknowledged that Clinton won't agree with him on everything.

Clinton has said she'll decide whether to run early next year.

An elegant diss of Clinton while appearing to support her.

Call me a cynic, but I wonder if he did insert himself for a third term - would there be anybody that would dare to stop him?

I am more than half serious.   **nononono*

Alice asks:

Prediction:
If Obama called a press conference and said that he wanted his name placed in nomination for a third term, the press would go to bat for him, stating that the 22nd Amendment was "racist"...

I'm three-quarters of the way serious!

America voted for "new car smell" in 2008, and we got 8 years of this dingus out of it.  He's a buffoon and is the punchline of jokes.  Hell, even SNL finally mocked him.

Hate to say it, but I think you could be right.  It would be racist to try to deny him - and I'm pretty darn serious!
