Virginia House Democratic candidate performed sex acts with husband on webcam for ‘tips’

A Virginia Democratic candidate for the state’s House of Delegates performed sex acts with her husband online — and asked her virtual audience to pitch in with “tips,” The Post has learned.
Susanna Gibson, a mother of two young children who is running in a competitive race to represent District 57 in Richmond, showed quite a bit more than skin on the adult streaming website Chaturbate, according to screenshots of archived material reviewed by The Post.
The 40-year-old nurse practitioner hosted more than a dozen of the live romps with her husband on the platform, which was then posted to a publicly accessible archive on the website Recurbate in September 2022 after she declared her candidacy, the Washington Post first reported.
The unconventional candidate had more than 5,770 Chaturbate followers, whom she repeatedly pressed for more “tokens” in exchange for certain acts in “private” showings — adding that she was “raising money for a good cause.”
In other videos, she suggested that she and her husband have “tried swapping” with different partners as she is “ethically non-monogamous,” but that he “doesn’t like sharing.”

Here’s how the media wanted to present Susanna Gibson: as the Democrat hope for taking back Virginia, a health care worker and suburban mother who got into politics when Roe v. Wade was struck down and the issue was returned to the states.
Susanna Gibson remembers where she was and what she was doing on June 24, 2022, the way some remember 9/11 or the Challenger explosion. The nurse practitioner was sitting at her kitchen table in Henrico, Va., going over some patient charts, when her phone buzzed. It was one of her best friends, sharing a link to a news article.
“I saw this text come in, and the feeling of anger and sadness, and just fury but also powerlessness that I felt … I will never forget that,” she said.
The news left Gibson literally floored at first. “I just laid down and looked at the ceiling and it took me probably 10 minutes to get up; I was just so distraught,” she said. “And I remember later that day, walking my dog around and around and around our neighborhood. … Walking around really feeling that sense of hopelessness and helplessness.”

This is all going down just as I expected. With Democrats’ control of the Virginia House of Delegates at stake, the left-media is rallying around Susanna Gibson and treating this as a nothing-burger. First up is Politico’s Jack Shafer whose piece is titled “So What if a Candidate Livestreamed Sex Acts with Her Husband?” As Shafer sees it, politicians have been crossing sexual boundaries for decades and this is no different.
Politicians have long transgressed polite society’s sexual boundaries. Members of Congress always seem to be getting busted for hiring prostitutes. A number of members have been convicted for having sex with underage pages. In the 1980s, one lawmaker, Rep. Barney Frank, lived with a male escort who said he ran his prostitution service out of Frank’s apartment. In the 1990s, Congress could have passed for a swingers club as a passel of high-ranking members, including Bob Barr, Dan Burton, Robert Livingston, Newt Gingrich, Henry Hyde and Pete Domenici engaged in sexual affairs. And, of course, in 1998, President Bill Clinton collapsed the day’s existing moral standards when he did the same with an intern inside the White House.

A Virginia Democrat running for a seat in the House of Delegates claims to have been the victim of a "sex crime." She wants the FBI to investigate "leaks" of her "online activity" that she is calling an "illegal invasion of [her] privacy designed to humiliate" her and her family, according to the New York Times.
Sounds bad, but wait until you read the fine print. The 40-year-old Democrat, Susanna Gibson, along with her husband, moonlighted as pornographers on an X-rated website, including while she was a candidate for office. In exchange for "tips," the duo offered to perform various sex acts in front of the camera, including but not limited to urination and violent sex.
"I'm raising money for a really good cause," Gibson said in one of these livestreams, uploaded on Sept. 5, 2022. It is unclear whether the cause was her campaign—Gibson announced her candidacy in July of last year for one of a handful of tight races that will determine control of the Virginia House of Delegates—but regardless, her side hustle is of obvious interest to Virginia voters casting their ballots in November.

Regardless of whether she broke any law, she showed more layers of bad judgment than a baklava has layers:
* Promiscuity is risky, STDs;
* Promiscuity is risky, violent pervs;
* Promiscuity is risky, divorce by a spouse who just isn't into it, and children thereby having two houses, but no home;
* Promiscuity is risky, pervs wanting access to the children;
* The Internet is "forever";
* Playing victim when she posted the porn-vids onto a non-private porn site.
I'm not in Virginia, but I could not vote a person of that degree of bad judgment into any public office. Further, while Nurse Practitioner means knowledge, experience, and expertise beyond Registered Nurse, I would not want to receive medical care from her - risk of disease and from poor judgment.

Others have said it was no big deal, but the weekly panel on MSNBC’s The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle took it a step further by trying to spin her response to revelations as a positive.
The assembled panel was taking turns nominating people who considered to be the week’s MVP and journalist and author of Raising Them Right: The Untold Story of America's Ultraconservative Youth Movement and Its Plot for Power, Kyle Spencer, chose Gibson, "I am going to nominate Susanna Gibson, who ran or is running for a seat in the Virginia State House and –" ...
Trying to stay somewhat serious, Spencer continued to omit that it is very possible Gibson used her profits from her X-rated videos to fund her "good cause" or her campaign, "She was outed for this her response was basically, leave me alone. I am running, I care about the issues I care about, and what I do with my husband doesn’t matter and I thought this—"
Ruhle then chimed in, "Good on you, Sue!" Humorist George Hahn added, "I want to meet her. I want to hang out with her," to which Spencer also joined, "I know! Don’t you-- I know!" ...

Keep in mind that AP is one of a couple of major content 'filters' for news, and yes, this should be the scandal. Not the content of the tapes so much, but that AP is acting with favoritism and bias in reporting news to major outlets which, in turn, report what passes for 'news' to the masses.
