Kirsten Powers to O’Reilly: Obama ‘Had a Total Lack of Curiosity’ About Obamacare Glitches

Bill O’Reilly squared off with Kirsten Powers on Wednesday night over the continued problems to Obamacare, and as they clashed over whether this proves the federal government cannot manage big things, with Powers saying Obama “had a total lack of curiosity” about the site before it launched.

Powers admitted that she has grown “extremely frustrated with the rollout of Obamacare” though she still has hope. O’Reilly said based on what he knows about Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, “she would have trouble going to K-Mart.” He asserted that Sebelius is “not skilled” and only in that position “because she’s a Democrat.”

He contended that this is proof positive that “the federal government can’t do anything.” Powers disputed this assessment, asking him, “Does it run Medicaid? Does it run Medicare? Does it run the military?”

O’Reilly said that if Obama was really “competent,” he would have appointed competent people. Powers agreed that Obama “had a total lack of curiosity” about the site, and surprised O’Reilly by pushing for a blanket one-year delay of the entire law.
