If Kamala is chosen for Biden, the Dem powerbrokers would be doing the GOP a favor. Kamala hasn't played well on the national stage. She comes across as contrived, conniving, phony. Being from California she brings nothing to the ticket--and I'm not sure how her choice of husband will play with black men.
The choice should be that curvy governor from Michigan. She is American Woman 2020. Relatable in so many ways--blended family, definitely not a size 6, working mom, survivor of sexual assault, accomplished.

The primary is over and Democrat wannabes are now jockeying to play backup to Joe Biden on the November ticket. As you can imagine, Vegas is taking bets.
The odds-on favorite in this contest is Kamala Harris, the junior Senator from California. She is an attractive candidate in a lot of ways. As an African-America woman, she would fill two demographics for a party that obsesses over such things, she already has a national profile, and she is knowledgeable on the issues (please note: being knowledgeable on the issues does not equate being right on the issues). Additionally, Joe Biden has already hinted at plans for her.
She’s not the only one Vegas is taking bets on though. Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, failed candidate for Georgia Governor Stacey Abrams, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Senator Amy Klobuchar are all names being bandied about.
So, if you’re the betting type, who should you place your money on? Well, there are three things you should keep an eye on.

Harriss already has a track record as a lousy campaigner.If he's going to go that rough the Mooch is most likely. She was pushed heavily by the media and popularized as much as they could. That doesn't provide the oomph his campaign would need, imho.
People do not like or cnnect with her personally.
By the start of a campaign, by Biden and whoever joins him (or his replacement) will have been through campaign boot camp, charm school etc.

hmm..., I don't think so .. The O'Bammy's are even more well insulated than the Clintons. Let's face it, Michael is just what the DEMS need to defeat Trump (and I for one think she could). She brings in the black vote, the progressive left vote , the female vote and the millennial vote. Question is, does she want the job? IF so, and IF successful, look for Slow Joe to step down shortly afterwards making Michael the first FEMALE black president. Scary thought isn't it? I'm gonna bet Michelle had the final say on the decorating. My Italian-born mother had an Italian saying that translates to "all her taste is in her mouth."
They wanted a "taste of Africa," which explains her ugly clothes, too. But that Dining Room as such a dumpster fire with mismatched furniture. How they thought Early American and Zulu could work together is utterly beyond me. The chandelier alone made my head hurt just looking at it. The room needed a faux thatched roof.
There is such a concept of decorating called "eclectic" -- combining mismatched styles and in some cases it works. But not in this case.

Well, maybe that expression crosses all borders and shows up in various ethnic groups. My mother said it in Italian; alas, my Italian sucks.
But I don't hold myself out as an expert on decorating and I'm sure some things I've done with my house would upset a few people. But my house isn't open to the public as the White House is. What Michelle did to the people's house was an abomination. From what I hear though, the current First Lady has made the place look a lot better and bravo to her for doing so. At least, it looks like that awful yellowish curtain that used to be behind Obama when he held a news conference or a briefing apparently is gone.
