We’ve seen already the news of the growing number of companies citing the corporate tax cut as the trigger to give bonuses, raises, and announcements of significant new domestic capital investment, which is ruining the Democrats’ day. Wait till they get a load of this news, from the Wall Street Journal this morning:

𝐿𝑒𝓈𝓈-𝐸𝒹𝓊𝒸𝒶𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝒲𝑜𝓇𝓀𝑒𝓇𝓈 𝒮𝑒𝑒 𝐵𝒾𝑔𝑔𝑒𝓈𝓉 𝒲𝑒𝑒𝓀𝓁𝓎 𝒫𝒶𝓎 𝐵𝓊𝓂𝓅𝓈

The benefit of a good economy would usually bode well for an incumbent. My father taught me that people voted their pocket books.

But that was before "identity politics," blacks, Hispanics, homosexuals, blue collar, white collar, and other assorted differences.

Possibly winning of voters tired of being left out of the economic equation. Voters of all description. We'll see come the election.

This probably explains why Obama won reelection with over 50% of the vote despite a very weak economy
