Caving to the social justice crowd does have its price, as Dick’s Sporting Goods has just found out with its sales numbers.

After the sporting gear giant decided to stop selling, what the progressives call, assault weapons the store lost $150 million in sales, Fox News reported.

Dick’s Sporting Goods’ bottom line took a very big hit after halting the sale of assault-style weapons in response to the Parkland school massacre.

This line alone by the Chairman should be enough for shareholders to drop a mega-lawsuit on the company for failing to pursue its fiduciary responsibility to owners,

But Ed Stack, the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dick’s Sporting Goods, is not wavering in his decision to get woke.

“The system does not work,” he said. “It’s important that when you know there’s something that’s not working, and it’s to the detriment of the public, you have to stand up.”
