Biden: 'We took a gut punch in Iowa'
By Max Greenwood - 02/05/20 01:14 PM EST

Former Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged on Wednesday that he “took a gut punch” in the Iowa caucuses this week, after partial results showed him placing fourth.

“I’m not going to sugar coat it: We took a gut punch in Iowa,” Biden said at a rally in New Hampshire. “The whole process took a gut punch. But look, this isn’t the first time in my life I’ve been knocked down.”

The final outcome from the Iowa caucuses on Monday is still unknown after technical difficulties with an app used to report tallies forced results to be delayed.

So far, totals from about 71 percent of precincts have been reported and show Biden standing in fourth place behind former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

Brian Cates may be on to something:

Brian Cates // Digital Soldier for Flynn  @drawandstrike

They've all been fooled. It was a never a real campaign.
He's only been running to claim investigating his family's rampant corruption in Ukraine/China/Iraq & elsewhere is Trump persecuting a political rival.
The polls are CRAP.

First head rolls after Biden’s weak Iowa finish
‘We had precinct captains who didn’t know how to run a caucus. And a few didn’t even show,’ said a top Biden campaign official.

DES MOINES — Joe Biden’s campaign has parted ways with its Iowa field director, two days after the former vice president came in an embarrassing fourth place in the primary caucus state.   ...

But friends of Bogen, who did not return calls and messages seeking comment, said she was being scapegoated by a floundering campaign, adding that she had complained about its dysfunction, which she blamed on higher-ups.

“The Biden campaign is desperate to blame everyone for his problems in Iowa — the state party, Donald Trump, Adrienne — and that’s bullshit,” a friend, a Democrat who is not aligned with another candidate but did not want to discuss her separation from the campaign without her knowledge, said.  ...

Whoa! That Brian Cates thing makes a lot of sense.

Biden’s whole campaign may be a diversion to give the dems fuel for impeachment.

If I were into conspiracy theories, that is......  wink777

I think Biteme's as surprised as anybody the Dems picked that particular issue to gin up an Impeachment for.  No conspiracy theories required.   wink777

It's very difficult to shake the notion that, for Democrats, running for office means you can't be investigated by the Incumbent of that office.  A get-out-of-jail-free card that applies only to Democrats, because everybody was Jim-dandy with O'Bastard investigating Trump.

Why is Biteme so pugilistic?  Everything is analogous with some sort of fighting.  Gonna beat Trump up behind the gym.  Demanding citizens engage in push-up competitions or arm wrestling.  A defeat in a Caucus is a punch in the gut.  Corn Pop.

True that.

My imagination is going wild here.....  How bout the possibility that the Dems picked Ukraine as the phony impeachment issue, not so much so that Creepy Joe would be untouchable, but because his high crimes and misdemeanors would be inevitably brought up so that it would taint him and one of the truer socialists could get the nomination?

Then again, it just may be that the Dems, corrupt and vile as they are, just wanted Joe to run as an excuse to go for impeachment because he was a political opponent and it would LOOK like Trump was election tampering.

Whatever the reason, I'm pretty sure the Creepy Joe campaign is dead in the water.....

Both of those possibilities are likely, and they aren't mutually exclusive.

Duly noted.  There could be multiple ulterior motives going on here.
