Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., slammed Rush Limbaugh, who was recently was diagnosed with cancer, as a “racist" on social media late Tuesday, saying he “cheapens†the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
AOC didn’t attend President Trump's State of the Union address, claiming it would have legitimized what she saw as lawless conduct under his administration. But she offered her thoughts on Limbaugh receiving the honor to her 4.2 million Instagram followers with a streaming video.
“First of all, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is an extraordinarily sacred award. We’re talking about putting someone on the same level as Rosa Parks, for example, in terms of their contributions to American progress,†Ocasio-Cortez said. “Rush Limbaugh is a violent racist.â€

I passed her House office a year ago and there was a line of very natty fanboyz & girlz lined up outside hoping for a glimpse.
Later, in the full House itself I watched her from the gallery, she was the only member who was sitting with an empty seat on either side of her. Amidst all the activity no one approached her as she was slouched in her seat. Thought it was interesting.

She could have gotten her degree by staying home and just have them mail it to her.
When I was going to college in the mid-70's I saw minorities that would only show up on test day,write their names on the tests,turn them in,and then leave. Total time in that classroom each week less than 5 minutes. Not only that,but they were getting paid more for enrolling in grant money than the VA was paying me under the GI Bill,and unlike me,they couldn't be booted out of school or be failed. The school was dependent on government grant money to remain open,and without a certain percentage of minority students graduating,the grant money would be cut off.
