©Provided by RideRambler

Electric vehicles (EVs) are all the rage, touted as the clean, green cars of the future. But there’s more to the story than just plugging in and saving the planet. While they skip the gas pump, EVs have their own set of environmental challenges. In this article, we’re going to break down 13 ways these cars aren’t as clean as you might think.

Every time I use the bathroom throne I emit hot, toxic fumes which, I guess, means I should give up bowel movements.

I posted this on another thread, but I will mention it here as well.

Is it possible that Trump met with DeSantis this week because he sees that he might get convicted in NYC and if that happens he will offer the nomination to RDS in exchange for a pardon?

WEF: Each ton of coffee emits 15 to 20 tons of CO2

It has been estimated that nearly 3-in-4 Americans drink coffee every day. However, did you know that your morning cup of Joe may also have repercussions for the environment?

The topic came up during a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Speaker Hubert Keller highlighted a crucial yet often overlooked issue for coffee drinkers.

“Every time we drink coffee, we are basically putting CO2 into the atmosphere,” Keller stated.

Keller, who is a senior managing partner at Swiss private bank Lombard Odier Group, provided a quantification of this environmental impact.

“The coffee that we all drink emits between 15 and 20 tons of CO2 per ton of coffee, so we should all know that,” he remarked.

Trump has problems in swing states, but Biden's problems in these states are far worse. The Green New Deal has been a disaster for Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Inflation, high interest rates, unaffordable housing and especially illegal immigration are killing Nevada and Arizona. There is a general discontent I have not seen in this country since the Carter years.

Since we are speculating wildly on this thread, here is a "what if" for you. What if Trump and DeSantis met this week and made a deal that if Trump is convicted in NYC then RDS gets the nomination in exchange for pardoning Trump?

DeSantis ain't stupid enough to hitch his star in any way to the Trump train, just as Cruz was before him. It's suicide.
Look around at all the waste in Trumps wake.

After Trump’s loss this fall, the Republican Party is going to become a battleground between those of us who favor reigning in the federal government  vs Trump’s MAGA populists that simply want to wield its power.

I’ve seen similar type statements from the press regarding this election.

It’s clear that they plan to press their thumbs on the scale with more weight than elections past
