Paul Ryan calls on Gianforte to apologize

House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday that Greg Gianforte, the GOP House candidate charged with assaulting a reporter, should apologize but added that it is now up to voters in Montana to choose whether they want him as their representative in Congress.
"There's never a call for physical altercations," Ryan told reporters during his weekly press conference. "That is wrong and it should not have happened."
"I think he should apologize," Ryan added.

My comment directed at her tagline was intended to point out that it is hypocritical to accuse me of supporting violence when I made a joke while she is at the same time making a joke which also implies violence.
I don't need or want a safe space, I just think people shouldn't be so quick to misjudge each other's motives or meaning.
