This afternoon, Mike Lindell was surrounded by FBI agents as he waited at a drive-thru window at a Hardee’s restaurant in Mankato, MN. Mike had just finished duck hunting with his friends, one of whom was with him in his vehicle, when the FBI surrounded them at the drive-thru.
According to Mike, who claims he’s been waiting for the FBI to arrest him so he can share all of his evidence of voter fraud through voting machines, the FBI did not arrest him but instead threatened him.
As Mike and his friends were sitting in the car, they noticed a vehicle parked sideways in front of him. Another vehicle parked up beside him, and another one parked behind him, essentially trapping him at the drive-thru window.
Mike told Lindell TV host Brannon Howse that he begged the FBI agents to arrest him so he could share his evidence with the government, but they told him they were only there to discuss “Colorado,” as it relates to former Mesa Count Clerk Tina Peters. The FBI agents told Mike they had a subpoena for his phone, which he refused to give them. Eventually, Mike gave up his phone. Mike explained that the FBI asked him not to share the subpoena with the public, so Mike asked his producer to place a copy of the subpoena on the screen while he explained the details of his confrontation with the FBI.
Mike told Howse that his phone contains all of his contacts and that his hearing aids are attached to his phone. He claims the FBI had to be “tracking my phone” throughout the day to be able to catch up to him in his home town of Mankato, MN. at the Hardees drive-thru window.

Mike explained to host Brannon Howse that the FBI agents were kind to him and that he was actually trying to bring one of the FBI agents over to Christ. “This is what they did in Nazi Germany, everyone!” Mike exclaimed.

They took his phone away. Lindell runs five businesses through his phone, and the Justice Department took it away from him. From what he said, it was the Colorado office that secured the warrant because Lindell had uncovered election law violations committed by Colorado Democrat officials.
The only thing we're missing at this point is the barbed wire, cattle cars, Zyklon-B showers, and crematoria.

The purpose of doing this to a conservative multi-millionaire like Lindel is to put fear in the hearts of the vast majority of Republican voters,who are working-class people that know they would go bankrupt trying to defend themselves against similar charges. The cases can,and literally WILL drag on for at least 4 years,insuring that every blue-collar worker or retired worker would go bankrupt trying to defend themselves,while the alleged "Justice Department" will be spending hundreds of millions of dollars collected in taxes to investigate and put them on trial.

Mike Lindel could throw for another phone, buy a sim, transfer his number to the new sim, and be up and running in less than an hour with everything restored except the logs. And the logs are there too - Just won't download to the phone on a restore.
The point being if all your crap can download into a new phone from the server, then all that data is necessarily on the server, right?

True but in a relative way. There is a simply physical limit to how much T-Mobile(for example) can store. They are dealing with terabytes of information per hour. It is impossible for any entity to store everything.
Also, for the FBI (anyone) to access information from a provider requires legal hurdles and a paper trail with names. Since what these people are doing is fundamentally illegal and they have no justification for it, they are short-circuiting the procedures and avoiding any connection with legal channels.
Essentially, they are acting like mob bullies and extortionists.

The FBI seized Lindell’s phone last week while he was waiting at a drive-thru in Minnesota — a move that the Trump ally is contesting in court.
The warrant for the search, which was filed by Lindell’s team on Wednesday as part of his lawsuit to the United States District Court in Minnesota, showed that the DOJ is investigating Lindell for identity theft, intentional damage to a protected computer and conspiracy to commit identity theft or intentionally damage a protected computer.
The warrant was approved by U.S. Magistrate Judge Tony Leung on Sept. 7, according to document. Law enforcement were required to execute the search warrant before Wednesday, Sept. 21.
The magistrate approved the search and seizure warrant on the basis of probable cause that Lindell may have violated federal law.
Agents searched for records or information connected to Mesa County election clerk Tina Peters’s alleged scheme to breach voting machines during the 2020 election.
Peters was indicted on state criminal charges in March.
Officials first became aware of the breach after passwords and hard drive copies from Mesa County voting machines were presented at an event hosted by Lindell.
Lindell, who has frequently made unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 election was stolen, is currently facing defamation lawsuits from two election technology companies, Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems Inc., over his claims of election fraud.

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell had his phone seized because he is being investigated for alleged identity theft and damage to a computer in connection with a breach of a Colorado county's voting system, according to the Justice Department's search warrant.
The FBI seized Lindell's phone on Sept. 13 while he was waiting at a fast-food drive-thru in Minnesota. He is contesting the seizure in court. Lindell's attorneys revealed the warrant Wednesday for a company-issued cellphone used by the MyPillow founder, showing the DOJ is investigating the device for information potentially involving identity theft and a suspected voting equipment breach in Colorado's Mesa County.
The warrant includes a 24-point list of information the FBI was authorized by U.S. Magistrate Judge Tony N. Leung to seize on Sept. 7. Law enforcement was given until Sept. 21 to execute the warrant.
Attorneys for Lindell published the warrant one day after he filed a lawsuit against Attorney General Merrick Garland, accusing the DOJ of violating his First, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights.
"The Warrant was obtained by the Government in bad faith," lawyers for Lindell wrote. "In applying for the issuance of the Warrant, the [Justice] Department failed to apprise Magistrate Judge Leung of Mr. Lindell’s role in attempting to uncover violations of federal and Colorado election record retention statutes and the fact that he communicated with his lawyers about these matters. It also failed to appraise the Magistrate Judge of the subpoena it intended to serve on Plaintiffs."
Leung approved the search-and-seizure warrant on the basis of probable cause that the MyPillow founder may have violated federal law.
