Ted Cruz Introduces Constitutional Amendment to Impose Term Limits on Congress.
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has put the Washington D.C. establishment on notice by introducing a bill to impose term limits on members of Congress.
The amendment, which Cruz introduced alongside Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC), would limit U.S. Senators to two six-year terms.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives would be limited to three two-year terms after the date of its enactment.
The bill would be constructed as a constitutional amendment.
Ted Cruz said: "Term limits are critical to fixing what's wrong with Washington, D.C.
