Ron Klain expected to step down as Biden chief of staff: reports
White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain has served under President Biden for two years

By Chris Pandolfo | Fox News

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain is expected to step down after serving President Biden for two years, according to multiple reports.

Klain's impending resignation is the most significant departure of a key power player in the Biden White House since the president took office in 2021.

Fox News has not independently confirmed Klains departure.

Klain, a longtime Biden confidant and Democratic operative, was the longest-serving chief of staff to a Democratic president. He previously served as Biden's chief of staff when he was vice president during the Obama administration and is an attorney and former lobbyist.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Klain began his career working for the then senator from Delaware. In the late 1980s, when Biden led the Senate Judiciary Committee, Klain served as the committee’s chief counsel. Furthermore, he was an adviser and speechwriter for Biden’s unsuccessful 1988 and 2008 White House campaigns.

His possible replacement is a proven White House pro.

But seriously:
Quote
... Klain's resignation marks a significant turnover in the Biden administration. Additionally, the White House will likely begin seeing more departures in the coming months if Biden commits to his reelection bid and aides move over to his campaign.

If such a resignation were to come about, it would occur during a time when Biden is facing investigations by the Department of Justice over the mishandling of classified documents, as well as a House probe, which Kentucky GOP congressman James Comer has maintained is about the president.

Among those on the shortlist to succeed Klain include Steve Richetti, counselor to the president; Labor Secretary Marty Walsh; former White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients; Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack; and Anita Dunn, a White House senior adviser.  ...

Exactly my first thought. Biden is very obviously mentally incompetent/mentally impaired, as is Kamala in a different way. Klain has been 'acting President' for the last two years. If he steps down, it signals that the powers behind the curtain have done all they expect to do with their Biden puppet regime and are ready to move on. Once Biden becomes toxic he is of no further use to them.

The only question is what Obama wants.

SHOCK: Ron Klein, Biden’s Chief of Staff, is being blamed for sabotaging the president in his handling of the classified document scandal and cover up. Rumor is that he’s been asked to resign.

@Wingnut

More importantly,he knows that without classified data to sell to foreign governments and both US and foreign corporations, the money supply will shut down,so there will be no reason for him to continue to work there

Biden’s incoming chief of staff slammed by liberals over corporate past, massive wealth
'Jeff Zients has become astonishingly rich by profiteering in healthcare,' liberal think tank says
By Jessica Chasmar | Fox News

Jeff Zients, the former White House coronavirus response coordinator who is succeeding Ron Klain as President Joe Biden’s new chief of staff, has faced left-wing criticism for his corporate past and the massive wealth he’s accumulated in the private sector.

Progressive Twitter users were quick to recirculate old articles criticizing Zients after the news broke on Twitter Sunday that Zients would be taking over for Klain in the coming weeks. Fox News Digital confirmed Zients would be the incoming chief of staff.

Zients held several positions in the Obama administration, including director of the National Economic Council from March 2014 to January 2017, before he returned to the private sector, sitting on the board of directors at Facebook and holding executive jobs at The Advisory Board Company and CEB. He has also worked closely alongside several of Biden's senior advisers and members of his cabinet.

Upon joining the current White House as Biden's COVID-19 czar from early 2021 through April 2022, Zients disclosed owning between $89.3 million and $442.8 million in assets, including various investment funds, real estate properties and cash shares.

I give this guy six months before he's gone too.  Klain is jumping ship for some specific reason, which can't be good for Biden in the coming weeks.

Breaking: Biden has picked former White House COVID Coordinator Jeff Zients as Chief of Staff. Zients, whose net worth is $150 million+, pushed for strict employer vaccine mandates, led the censorship of Americans, and told the unvaccinated they faced “severe illness and death.”

The far leftists are whining that he's too "corporate." Duh, so's the DNC. But for big bucks from Pfizer, Google, etc., Dem politicians would have to rely solely on labor unions for their money.

She's saying Walsh resigned because he opposed the administration's continued issuance of phony baloney employment numbers.
