WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on the fallout from the attack of the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump loyalists (all times local):
3:15 p.m.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said in a note to his fellow Republican senators that he is undecided on whether President Donald Trump should be convicted if the House votes to impeach him.
McConnell said in the letter Wednesday: “While the press has been full of speculation, I have not made a final decision on how I will vote and I intend to listen to the legal arguments when they are presented to the Senate.â€
The House is poised to vote to impeach Trump on Wednesday for a second time after he egged on a violent mob of his supporters who invaded the Capitol last week.

The republicans are quite good at destroying themselves.....

I can personally attest that Mitch's phone lines have been blowing up today.

I'm sure his aides are receiving an ear full today. Unfortunately, Mitch has already won re-election for the next two years. He's 78 and his wife just vacated her seat.
I highly doubt that he could care less what happens. He's been bought and paid for and has the $$ to live out the rest of his life more than comfortably. I don't think he'll seek office again; he's up in years and he knows that the GOP is dead anyways.

Hard to say. Just look at Di-Fi.

They just reached a 217 vote majority, so impeachment moves to the senate ...

Perhaps McConnell should examine the evidence first.

This is an obscenity.
And its directed at us, not at Trump.
They are planning to keep provoking us until we react, then they're gonna slam the lid.

I rarely watch the news but watched it during dinner and they were talking of taking up a vote in the Senate on Inauguration Day. I assumed the vote would be taken before Sloe Joe is sworn in. They could vote to remove Trump so that he can never run again. That is their goal and objective.
I believe Mitch and many other RINO's now have allegiance to their DEM country club. I foresee them making a spectacle of the whole scene and actually filming Trump on national television being removed. Then they'll swear in Joe.
