White House does damage control after Biden calls Japan and India ‘xenophobic’

The White House scrambled to explain comments President Joe Biden made about Japan’s stance on immigrants Wednesday night at a fundraiser in Washington, D.C.

Biden’s remarks came just weeks after he hosted Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for a state visit at the White House. Wednesday’s campaign event was primarily attended by Asian American donors.

According to the press pool traveling with Biden, the president lumped in Japan and India, two strong U.S. allies, with Russia and China, claiming that all four were xenophobic and that their opposition to incoming migrants negatively impacted them economically.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced multiple questions about Biden’s comments while traveling with the president to North Carolina on Thursday, and she claimed that Biden was trying to contrast those countries with the United States’s own acceptance of migrants.

“The broader case that he was trying to make,” Jean-Pierre told reporters, “when it comes to who we are as a nation, we are a nation of immigrants. That is in our DNA.”

... much like FDR's Lend-Lease prolonged death and destruction during the Battle of Britain during World War II.

Wisely, the French put a ceasation to death and destruction by, first, surrendering to the Nazi's, and, second, collaborating with the Nazi's.

The sooner Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan surrender to Hamas (Iran), Russia, and China, the sooner all this death and destruction will end.

Think how many American lives could have been saved during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 if the Americans had just surrendered to the British.

History has shown that surrender and appeasement are the means to attain, secure, and maintain long-lasting  peace.

Not many folks want the responsibility of re-homing a dog who you know will bite people.

It's one thing to re-home one because you can't get them to keep from chewing up your slippers or whatever to folks who don't wear slippers, but something else to do so after they bite you.

And a dog with a reputation for killing farm animals is always a liability.

City folks will see that differently, maybe.

I take it you disagree with the dog trainer?

I must say that I'm flummoxed by so many on this thread who are making excuses for her. She's not tough. She doesn't make difficult decisions. She's cruel. And a fool for including this incident in her book.

For the record, thanks to the Dog Whisperer, I do believe you can re-home a dog. And that you can teach it how to behave properly. But only if that's a priority for you. But if you just need the problem gone, bang bang. Sickening.

The reason why Japan will REMAIN "Japan" long after the United States has crumbled and fallen apart IS BECAUSE the Japanese are "xenophobic".

It is mostly the stupid whites in their own countries who are doomed to eventually disappear (yes, DISAPPEAR) because they have no desire to protect themselves and their heritage, and indeed, have no idea why they should even do so.
It was one thing when the immigrants were from northern European Tribes, with similar enough backgrounds to assimilate (and contribute) to American Culture. But now we are importing people who our ancestors fought for hundreds of years, with few cultural similarities, who will not assimilate, and that isn't likely to end well.

The only way to save the country may be to CLOSE the environmental protection agency.
Just flat-out shut it down, repeal all the rules and regulations (ALL of them), and go back to where we were in, say, 1968.
It just might take that. Remove CO2 from the pollution list and let the plants have a field day.
