Millions of Americans are not getting the second doses of their Covid-19 vaccines, and their ranks are growing.
More than five million people, or nearly 8 percent of those who got a first shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, have missed their second doses, according to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That is more than double the rate among people who got inoculated in the first several weeks of the nationwide vaccine campaign.
Even as the country wrestles with the problem of millions of people who are wary about getting vaccinated at all, local health authorities are confronting an emerging challenge of ensuring that those who do get inoculated are doing so fully.
The reasons vary for why people are missing their second shots. In interviews, some said they feared the side effects, which can include flulike symptoms. Others said they felt that they were sufficiently protected with a single shot.
Those attitudes were expected, but another hurdle has been surprisingly prevalent. A number of vaccine providers have canceled second-dose appointments because they ran out of supply or didn’t have the right brand in stock.

I definitely would not even get the first one and I don't blame you for not wanting to get the booster. I'm afraid it would be even more detrimental.
I'm also still of the idea that there is a possibility that they are microchipping people. The injection goes into the muscle -- easy enough to do.

As with many other things, the millions who have received one of the Covid vaccines with only moderate or mild side effects won't make the news. Those millions are invisible because they are boring and don't contribute to thge MSM's Panic Porn.But people are free to choose.

I had flu-like symptoms after the first shot, and I understand they will be worse for the second one. If not for the fact that I intend to travel internationally this summer, I might have decided to forego the second one.

This information was enlightening to me; I didn't know that one required a second shingles vaccine.
Yeah, Shingrix is two doses. I had a reaction to the second dose of that too. Sore arm, a little fever and generally felt tired.

Only the J&J and Oxford vaccines have shown potentially lethal side-effects and those happen at a rate of about one in a million, while the same sort of blood clotting happens in about 20 per million COVID cases. And getting sick anyways is different from dying from respiratory failure or ending up in an ICU for a long stretch to get cured, neither of which happens to people who get the vaccine, and both of which happen to some people who catch COVID.

I don't get flu vaccine. Will not get any covid, cold virus vaccine, which has 99.7 % recovery. That number is supposed to be from CDC. Or WHO. One of them. Each year we have 30 to 60 K people who die from the flu. about 200,000 each year from doctor malpractice. One million and a half die from diabetes each year. PLEASE...YOU GET ALL THE SHOTS.

The morning after receiving the 2nd Pfizer vaccine my mom awakened completely unable to move. She described feeling paralyzed. Not even able to call out to her husband for help. He just thought she was sleeping in.....until it was almost time for lunch and realized something was wrong! Gradually the feeling came back in her extremities but then an intense sharp pain beginning in her toes slowly inched it's way up one leg at a time, then one arm at a time, followed by her torso and into her head, where she had a throbbing headache. It has taken over a month to be able to do things around the house that she was able to do prior to the vaccine...and she still gets fatigued easily and has brain fog she didn't have prior! I'm an RN. I'm not taking this vaccine!

I thought you had to be 60 and over for the shot, but my GP said anyone over 50, and definitely by 55.

You still have to live like you did before the vaccine in every way. So why get the shot? What good is it?
And, they were discussing "updates" quarterly or semiannually never-ending. Again, this is very discouraging.
The Democrats want COVID to last forever. They are trying to make it a normal part of American life with monthly updates and such.
Obviously, as we see here, there comes a point when Americans yell 'ENOUGH OF THIS SHIT!'

I take no flu shot. Same with this vaccine. 99.97% recovery. I found out, this percent was from the CDC. Covid is a 'cold virus', so it will be with us forever. It mutates!

That's why.

If I had listened, I would have had a tonsillectomy, hysterectomy, and the WRONG breast taken for a sample! It was left, they put on paper it was RIGHT side. Oh my gosh. I was 28, the doctor said I needed a hysterectomy. He scheduled it, before I even had a change to speak with husband or think it over! Like the next day! Then when I got divorced from this man, I didn't 'need' a hysterectomy. Now, if it was medically needed, it should be the same before and after. It wasn't. I still have all my parts. To this day.
Menopause cured me. The tonsillectomy. Still have them. Doctor said, he would do all three of us at discount! My two kids and me. You trust doctors? My mammogram showed NO CANCER. A needle biopsy came back NEGATIVE. Doctor said, probably some scar tissue. ( I had no surgery or anything done before). I thought about it, then decided to have lump removed and remove ALL DOUBT. It came back as cancer. I have more stories like this. Making my point.

Under doctors care, 7 months pregnant. I was in pain,I said it woucl be my appendix. He sent me home. I laid around for about a week in pain. My appendix RUPTURED, I went into labor. I could not have any drugs, for fear of harming early baby birth! BOTH of us almost died. In fact, I was, except for some good nurses! Everything was shutting down.

Why do people think the worst? Most of that, does NOT HAPPEN. My shingles, were so light, on my legs...I didn't know what I had. I put on some antivirus creme. Went away. People live in constant fear? Here I am, to irritate you all! lol

That depends a touch... If it is an emergency, like I need something cut off or bolted back on, Western med is the best there is, and I will trust them pretty dang far once the anesthesia kicks in... Broken bones and stitches... I been down that road my whole life with em, and with much confidence.
But illness... especially in the long term... wouldn't trust em as far as I can throw em. MUCH prefer my Cheyenne medicine man...
Same goes for births... Our first was horror highway, scared to death the whole time, Spinabiffeda, German measles, twins... right down the garden path all the way to a cesarean. And a fifteen thousand dollar bill, which wasn't chump change back then.
The other three kids we had at home with a midwife, natural remedies, and herbs, and never cost me more than $1500 again.

No. Don't need to. Already had my 'attack'. No one knows if I ever even, had chickenpox! My mom put me in a room with a child that had them. Never got them or so mild, no one can tell. Hence...a few, red dots on my legs. That was it.
Not every disease is of a major event.

I have the same philosophy, in that I will consider what the Doctor has to say, I will do research, I will even ask a second opinion if the research shows the doctor may not have been entirely correct, but the choices are mine alone.
The last three times I went to a doctor for something major, I knew what I had, what needed to be done, and was correct in all aspects.
