Great news! Our efforts to #ReleaseTheMemo have been effective and the HPSIC plans to begin the process to release the FBI/FISA/Russia memo. This may take up to 19+ Congressional work days but Americans deserve to know the truth.

I hope all of this build up doesn’t lead to a letdown.

I have been hearing about this subject, for months. Weeks. Days.
I am confident there is something very big. As in Watergate Big.
As of today, I will not predict it will result in firings and even prison for some.
But the odds are fairly good it will vindicate Trump, and implicate high ranking government employees in partisan abuse of the tools, in ways that were/are illegal.
But politics is by definition political.
-
I always thought it was funny that Watergate was about breaking into the DNC to get info they kept on fellow Dems and their dirt. Odd how the press never got terribly interested as to what was in the files.

I hope this is what takes the whole thing over the edge.

It was an interesting time. The democrats held the majority, but they showed restraint, until the facts made the case of the cover-up.

I'm still mad about Watergate. The press destroyed Nixon.

...and patiently waiting .... :pop41:

Prediction:
The democrat-communists will agree to fund the government and end the shutdown.
The price for doing so:
The contents of the FISA memo will NOT be released...

...and patiently waiting .... :pop41:
I'll be old and grey before its release. Probably dead before the alphabet press covers it in any detail

I thought you already were?

"This may take up to 19+ Congressional work days..."
What is the equivalent time in dog years?
Because I predict we're going to be waiting for a long, long time, if ever the files are released.
By which time, the mainstream media will dismissively proclaim it "old news" and refuse to cover it.

@Sanguine
I have a prediction for the date of the release of this Intelligence memo: It will be released a day before the SOTU address or the day after the SOTU address. Or on the day of the SOTU address. So that is three predictions.
Apparently, I know nothing. /Sgt. Schultz

But, but, but... I thought President Trump or Speaker Ryan could release the "memo."
Why is this ever so important four pages not being released, anyway? Too scary for the American people? Or is it just not worth diddly, but keeping it on the front page is just too much fun?
How much information can there be in four pages? What font was used?
-
19+ "Congressional days?" What's that in calendar days, six months? They're never going to release this during a campaign season, so this action effectively insures there will be no release. Thanks for nothing, Congressman.

@Sanguine
Old and grey or dead?
