Has anyone considered that Noem put the story in the book for the purpose of removing herself from consideration? Just saying…

Wouldn't it be easier and less drama/painful just to turn down the job?

Ukraine is continuing to defy LIEden's, ummm, request, that they not attack Russian oil production and storage facilities:

Unlike LIEden, they realize that tanks and IFVs (of various types) and weapons systems (self-propelled or towed) need fuel, making Russian oil production and storage facilities important military targets. No fuel, no move.

Now that being Jewish is considered to be a degrading trait, how much longer will Joy Behar keep her affected Jewish identity?

'Behar', is literally Hebrew. It means "of - in - or on the mountain". It is a real Hebrew name which a Roman Catholic "Josephine Victoria" picked up from one of her husbands. Which is fine if she wants to be a fake Jew. But now that being a Jew is no longer mainstream fashionable, how much longer will she keep the name.

Bipartisan House trio launches ‘Dog Lovers Caucus’ in jab to Kristi Noem incident

Three House members are launching a new caucus dedicated to their “shared love of dogs” in response to “recent dog-related events,” a hint at the revelation that Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) killed her 14-month-old puppy, Cricket.

Reps. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), Nancy Mace (R-SC), and Susan Wild (D-PA) announced the formation of the Congressional Dog Lovers Caucus, which will be an “informal, bipartisan group” dedicated to loving dogs for the “companionship, friendship, family, and health benefits” that they provide.

The caucus plans to hold events on Capitol Hill for fellow House members and staff, according to a press release sent Thursday.

“Dogs are the only thing on earth that loves you more than they love themselves,” Moskowitz said in a statement. “Their joy to live brings together Americans from all walks of life and can help nourish bipartisanship in Congress.”

Tie the border bill to funding elsewhere. It is done all the time in Omnibus spending bills. All sorts of stuff gets packed into those.

Okay, I'll play.  Attached to what?   We tried attaching it to Ukraine/Israel aid, and the Democrat response was "fine, we won't get any aid to Ukraine or Israel."  So that failed.

Or should they have tried attaching it to the continuing resolution as a whole, and just stopped the whole government?  Because that was threatened too, except the problem was that GOP members of the Problem Solvers Caucus said they wouldn't support a shutdown over that issue, so the votes weren't there.  That's what happens when you have a razor-thin majority - it isn't just a small handful of conservatives who have power, but rather every handful of moderates as well.
