Battle for Air Dominance: Russian Su-35 vs US F-22

As a derivative of the 1980s era Su-27, the upgraded Russian Su-35 may not be fully understood as being the threat that it may actually be, given the scope and impact of the adjustments and upgrades built into the aircraft.

The Russian Su-35 aircraft is indeed a very capable aircraft, despite largely being a modern variant of the Su-27, for a number of key reasons. Not only is the Su-27 itself a high-speed, effective aircraft but the newer Su-35 variant of the aircraft could be called a 4th-generation ++++ (plus) due to the upgrades woven in. First of all, the aircraft is fast, as even the Su-27 can hit speeds of Mach 2.35, and the Su-35 is just as fast but also operates with an F-22-like "supercruise" ability to sustain speeds without needing afterburner.

Given this, and several other critical attributes of the Su-35, the question then becomes .. was it built to rival and challenge the F-22? The idea makes sense, because although the Su-35 may generally be regarded as a 4th-generation aircraft, it does possess a number of performance parameters and technology upgrades which might make it a formidable challenge to the largely unparalleled US Air Force F-22.  This being said, the US Air Force and Lockheed have been quite diligent when it comes to upgrading the F-22 to ensure it retains its superiority. So -- ultimately, which aircraft would prevail in an air war?

The People Who Know Biden Best Don’t Like Him
Derek Hunter

I had the good fortune to take my family to Delaware for the weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day. It’s not like it was a massive trip, it’s a 3-hour drive, but Rehoboth Beach is a great place to go if you have young kids. It’s also, apparently, a great place to hide out if you’re trying to hide your mental decline. At least, that’s what it is for President Joe Biden. Well, that and a place for his son to party, probably.

But even here, a place Joe Biden calls home almost more often than the White House, among the people who know Joe best – the people who literally live a pretty solid drive and a low iron shot away from his beachfront mansion – there isn’t a lot of love for him.

In driving through the state, I did not see a single Biden sign. There were quite a few Trump signs, though not a ton – this is a deep blue state, after all. But as far as passion and enthusiasm goes, I found none for Joe.

I’ve been here before and checked in on how “The First State” is feeling about its favorite son (seriously, can you name anyone else from Delaware off the top of your head?) and it’s never been good. That being said, Joe Biden won every election here in a walk since 1972. Sure, he benefited from a Democratic Party machine that kept voters in line and obedient, but you’d at least think the state would be mildly excited that he’s president. They don’t seem to.

Cohen asked about Trump 2018 Tweet about people who 'flip' to assist the government

Cohen got asked about an infamous 2018 Tweet after the FBI raid where Trump vouched for Cohen and said he wouldn't flip, amid a New York Times report on how he might respond.

'The New York Times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Haberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will “flip,” Trump wrote, in a tweet that the jury heard, with Haberman sitting in the coutroom.

After bashing the paper and its sources, Trump calls Cohen 'a fine person with a wonderful family. Michael is a businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected. Most people will flip if the Government lets them out of trouble, even if..it means lying or making up stories. Sorry, I don’t see Michael doing that despite the horrible Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!'

Hoffinger then asked Cohen who Trump was communicating the message to. 'To me,' he said. He said the message was: 'Stay in the fold. Stay loyal. I have you. You’re a fine person. Don’t flip.'

Prosecution case falling 'significantly short' says legal expert

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley, a professor at George Washington University Law School, is not impressed with Cohen's testimony. He tells Fox News:

It's almost as if he (Cohen) thinks there should have been a second lawyer watching him and advising Trump if he could believe what he (Cohen) was saying.

He was the lawyer. He as drafting it. He was crafting these transactions.

And we are still significantly short of any showing of intention to defraud to hide a crime, which has still not been defined by the prosecutors.

Canada has a plan for cost cutting when it comes to the old and infirm draining the government purse....euthanasia, are you tired? euthanize!,  infirm? euthanize!, unhappy? euthanize!, can't remember shit? euthanize! born with any sort of disability? euthanize! question Trudy or his policies? get euthanized! All of this is on the democrats wish list and has been ever since Obama care was rammed up our...sphincters. Seniors in America on SS and Medicare are draining valuable resources from the democrats ability to give free shit to illegal aliens.

SHOCKING: JUDGE RELEASES SHOOTER DESPITE OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE AND OPPOSITION FROM PROSECUTORS!
 Daphne Moon May 14, 2024 1 2 min read

In a surprising turn of events, an 18-year-old shooter was released on bail earlier this month despite vehement opposition from prosecutors. Chief Magistrate Judge Lloyd U. Nolan, Jr. of the D.C. Superior Court has come under fire for releasing Amonte Moody, the accused, and placing him under house arrest. This decision has been met with outrage from the public, and investigations into Nolan’s background have revealed that the magistrate is an avid progressive activist on social media.

According to Fox News and WUSA-TV, Nolan has frequently shared posts on his social media accounts promoting the Black Lives Matter movement. A review of his online presence revealed that the judge proudly identifies as “woke,” a term often used to describe someone who is socially aware and actively supports social justice causes. Furthermore, Nolan has publicly announced his financial contributions to Gideon’s Promise, a non-profit organization founded by George Soros-linked professor Jonathan Rapping. This organization provides training to public defenders, with a focus on providing quality legal representation to those who cannot afford private attorneys.

The incident in question occurred at 2:19 a.m. on April 22 near the intersection of 17th Street and Independence Avenue, SE. Security camera footage captured the accused, a black male, firing an AR-15 at a car with four people inside. Despite the fact that there seemed to be no provocation or self-defense involved, Nolan released Moody on May 3 and allowed him to remain under house arrest in Maryland with a GPS monitor. This decision has caused outrage within the legal community and the public, prompting prosecutors to file an emergency order in an attempt to overturn the magistrate’s judgment.

Trump wants an Iron Dome for America. It won’t look like Israel’s

BY ELLEN MITCHELL - 05/14/24 6:00 AM ET

Former President Trump has repeatedly promised an Iron Dome missile defense system to protect the United States if he returns to the presidency. Experts say it would be a far cry from what’s used in Israel.

In his pledge, first made in December and repeated at least twice at campaign stops since, Trump said he would work to build “the greatest dome of them all” due to “a lot of hostile people out there.”

But experts say a promise to build something like the Israeli defense system, but better and over the entire continental United States, would come with an exorbitant price tag and little use for stopping the short-range missiles it’s meant to protect against.

A more sensible goal would be an improved missile shield comprised of several layered systems, working with several protections the country already has in place, they say.

“Iron Dome was a system tailor-made for Israel,” said Tom Karako, director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies’s Missile Defense Project. “Putting an Iron Dome on every corner is neither affordable nor is it sensible.”

Michael Cohen just choked up as he described April 2018 FBI raid.
He then describes call with Trump: 'He said don't worry. I'm the president of the United States. There's nothing here... stay tough. You are going to be OK.'
Cohen says they never spoke again.

Cohen: 'Mr. Trump did not want me to cooperate with the government'

"That Mr. Trump did not want me to cooperate with the government. Certainly not provide any information or flip," Cohen said right before the morning break.
