L.A. Mayor’s Friend Leads Pro-Hamas Group
One of the worst BLM antisemites in LA is Mayor Bass’ “longtime friend.”
May 10, 2024 by Daniel Greenfield 15 Comments

When Islamists and leftists attacked Jews at the Museum of Tolerance which had been screening images and videos of the Hamas atrocities of Oct 7, Mayor Karen Bass failed to condemn the violent antisemitism at a Holocaust museum.

Instead the Los Angeles mayor tweeted a generic condemnation of both sides, stating that “we cannot allow current worldwide tension to devolve into this unacceptable violence in our city. This is a time of immense pain and distress for thousands of Angelenos.”

During the UCLA Hamas riots, Mayor Bass once again did not condemn the antisemitism, only denounced the “violence” and “harassment” without saying a word about the Hamas supporters and their attacks on Jews.

This may be the week Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump falls apart

Even for those of us who have long been critics of the “hush money” case against Donald Trump and its dubious legal theory, it has been surprising to see that the prosecutors had no more evidence than we previously knew about.

The assumption was that no rational prosecutor would base a major criminal case almost entirely on the testimony of Michael Cohen, who was recently denounced by a judge as a serial perjurer peddling “perverse” theories in court.

The calculus of Alvin Bragg is now obvious. He is counting on the jury convicting Trump regardless of the evidence.

Which is also why Bragg likely fears that the judge, not the jury, will decide the case. After the government closes its evidence this week, the defense will move for a direct verdict by the judge on the basis that the evidence is insufficient to sustain a conviction.

Many of us agree with that assessment. After three weeks of testimony, there is still confusion on what crime Trump allegedly committed.

Bragg has vaguely referred to the labelling of payments to Stormy Daniels as “legal expenses” as a fraud committed to steal the election.

Biden Risks American Lives to Protect Hamas
No Americans should die to protect Hamas supporters in Gaza.
May 10, 2024 by Daniel Greenfield 25 Comments

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin recently admitted at a congressional hearing that American soldiers operating Biden’s disastrous “aid pier” for Gaza could come under attack from Islamic terrorists.

Biden has not sent a single soldier to recover American hostages being held by Hamas, but there are now soldiers in the line of fire in order to send aid to Gaza.

In the event American forces on the pier come under attack, they would be allowed to fight back, Austin promised. But based on the rules of engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan, all the terrorists have to do is attack from a mosque or from behind civilians, and American soldiers would be banned from fighting back.

And those are the ways that Hamas tends to attack.

Fareed Zakaria admits prosecutors would never have filed hush money charges against anyone ‘whose name was not Trump’

One of former President Donald Trump’s fiercest critics is questioning whether any other defendant would’ve been charged in the hush money case.

CNN anchor Fareed Zakaria made the admission while assessing the political blowback from the prosecution of Trump.

“The trials against [Trump] keep him in the spotlight, infuriate his base — who see him as a martyr and even may serve to make him the object of some sympathy among people in general who believe that his prosecutors are politically motivated,” the host said during his opening monologue on “Fareed Zakaria: GPS” on Sunday.

“This happens to be true, in my opinion. I doubt the New York indictment would have been brought against a defendant whose name was not Donald Trump.”

Zakaria also highlighted a CNN poll which found that 56% of Americans are doubtful that Trump will have a fair trial.

So long as leftists are able to sell this fake science, we will continue to be bombarded with this silly nonsense. Who is ever going to call these alarmists to account? No one, and they know it. And they'll have help from the media and other sectors that wield power (entertainment, universities, etc.) to crush dissenting voices.
